Your POV

I woke up by the sunlight hitting my face. I didn't even realize I feel asleep.

"They won't be here anymore"

I couldn't get those words my brother said out of my head. I got up and went towards the door. And I realized it was unlocked.

Yesterday I locked the door when I went inside my room. . .

I went outside to find Hyosuke making breakfast. I tried not to act suspicious or nervous when I came in the room.

"Good morning" I said with a fake smile on my face

"Good morning (Y/N), I made you some eggs and toast, but you should eat fast or we're going to be late"

I felt something uneasy by his voice. But wait what did he mean 'we're going to be late'

"Wait what? Were are we going?" I asked

"Going to the mall today" he said with a smile

"Oh okay" I said while looking down on my food

~time skip~

At the mall Hyosuke was acting strange. He was always close to me and never let me out of his sight but this time he was being way over protective than usual.

He randomly grabbed my hand and sprinted to a near by shop.

"Remember (Y/N), we used to eat these all the time when we were small" he pointed at some candy

"Yes, we loved it and we would hide them from our parents because they didn't like candy" I said looking down

Maybe I was just over reacting, we've been through a lot and we've always been there for each other.

He bought some and we ate them while walking around.

"Hey (Y/N), you know I miss these days, when we would go out together and have fun together" he said with sadness in his tone

I couldn't lie, I do miss those days. Maybe he was scared of me leaving him.

"I do too" he looked at me and he patted my head. Maybe I shouldn't be scared of him

~later that day~

We finally came home and the phone suddenly rang. I picked up the phone to hear Ai's voice in panic

"(Y/N)! Have you seen Akashi? He didn't come home apparently and his mom called me to see if he was with me."

"Wait Ai he didn't come home? Since when"

"Yes since saturday night. He has left his house for a couple of days before in the past, but his mom told me that when he called her it was someone's else's voice on the phone on not Akashi's" her voice is filled his terror

"Hey (Y/N)? Is Akashi okay?" I heard Hyosuke from the other side of the room

I turned around to see Hyosuke standing in the corner I felt my face turn pale. I turned back around and told Ai

"It's okay, we'll find him"

I stopped and started whispering

"Meet me outside the school in a bit" trying to hide my voice from Hyosuke

I hang up and walk to my room.

"I'm going to bed Hyosuke, good night" I said he looked at me, I felt like he saw right through my lie

"Okay good night"

As I got inside I locked my room and got ready to leave.
