"Distraction"

• Jungkook's pov •

"Excuse me sir, but I need you to sign these papers as soon as possible", I snapped back to reality and looked to my secretary

"Why didn't you tell me sooner?", I snatched the papers away from her and started to sign them

"I've been calling you for like three times, sir", she cleared her throat

"Are you complaining?", I deadpanned as the chuckled nervously

"N-no sir, my apologies", she bowed and I handed the papers harshly to her

"Get out", she bowed once again and left the office

Why do I keep thinking about that Aira? God Jungkook, you're so stupid for almost kissing her that night...

I was lost in my thoughts again until I heard a knock, it was my secretary.

"What again?", I sneered

"I'm sorry sir but you have a guest", she looked uncomfortable

"I'm not expecting anyone", I said while my eyes still glued to the laptop

"I know sir, but they insisted on seeing you"

"Who is it?"

"It's Mr. Chae, sir", I saw her blushed a little

"You said they but it's only one person? Tell him I can't-"

"The other one is his fiancee, Ms. Baek Aira"

I clenched my fists.

"Let them in"

I don't know why I was nervous... I kept pacing back and forth waiting for them, no, for her.

The door opened and I immediately looked at the two figures.

Aira looked gorgeous. She was wearing a white blouse with patterned trousers and a pair of nude heels.

"Aira", I approached her but Hyungwon suddenly pulled her to his back and looked down at me.

Damn why is he so tall?

"You really have no manners, do you? Calling out my fiancee like that in front of me", he sneered

"Why are you here? to brag about your relationship?", I crossed my arms

"Your face could use a beating", he balled his fists until Aira stepped in

"Okay, since you both can't settle this like a normal person, I'll do the talking"

She held a couple of shopping bags and extended it to me

"What is this?", I looked at confused

"I'm returning everything you bought for me, I'm thankful but it's not appropriate for me to have all this", she flashed a smile and suddenly a memory flashed through my mind

-flashback-

"I'm returning all the stuff you gave me", her eyes were empty when she looked into mine
"Why are you like this? We were fine-"
"Jungkook, I'm sorry things didn't work out as you wanted but I'm thankful towards you", she put down the stuff in front of me and turned around
"Minyoung, why him? You promised to stay but you left anyway", I sobbed silently as she turned around and kissed me one last time
"I'm sorry"
With that, she left me... alone and broken

"I think he's crazy", I heard Hyungwon muttered to Aira as she nudged him
