I have found
Is a chaotic crossing
Of perpendicular lines
Broken hearts and tee-shirt bandaids
You only have one chance--
The lines of your fate
And the lines of your soulmate's
Intersect
For only a brief period of time
1 second
1 minute
1 day
15 years maybe and it feels so damn short at the time
But it's obvious
It's obvious
Through all of those little signs
The electric feeling of skin to skin contact
The pull of gravity when you glance into their eyes or hear their name
And the smiles that give you butterflies.
