"Why did you bring her here?" George asks me.
"Why wouldn't I?" I ask back.
"Because you hardly know her! Who is she?" George gives back.
"Lady Isabella, that is who this fine Lady is and I am intending to marry her!", I explain to him.
"Do Father and Mother know of this?" George questions me in a worried tone.
"I actually sent a message to Father so he will know eventually.", I tell him before I head for breakfast with Isabella.
Isabella already sits at the table when I enter the room. As she spots me she stands up and curtsies. I walk up to her, take her hand and kiss it.
"I hope you had a good rest." I say her.
"Yes, thank you!" she smiles back at me. Right then the door flies open and a messenger enters alongside Frederick.
"Your majesty", he bows down. "Your parents want to inform you that if you insist on marrying the girl you desire, you shall have an engagement party at which she shall be introduced."
"Thank you. You may leave now!" I tell him. He bows down again and leaves.
My eyes wander to Isabella who seems very astonished. I smile at her and she blushes. I step forward and go down on one knee. "Lady Isabella, would you marry me?"
Her eyes travel hither and thither between my eyes and the ring.
Then she takes a deep breath.
"Yes"
