"Umm...we should go back now. It looks like rain. We'll take your car so you don't have to come back and get it." Josh said, his arm around her waist. "O...kay." She said. They got back to his apartment. "You know, it's already 7. I need to go." Maya said, standing from the couch. He pulled her back down. "Nooo." He whined. "Josh, I'm serious. Let go." He frowned. She walked towards the door. He followed her. She stopped. "Josh. What's going on?" She asked, annoyed. "I'm coming with you." He smiled, grabbing her hand. "No, Josh." She said. He kept holding her hand. "Maya. I need to see my family." He told her. "Great. You can come any other time except right now. It's not a long drive." She said, logically. "Maya. Please. Let me come with you." She paused. "Drive." She told him. They got in her little car and drove to the Matthews' home, silently.
