Josh's view Chapter 9 Part 2

They had made everything so beautiful there was a flower in each chair, the sun was shining, and everything glowed and shimmered as the choir was singing loves songs as we stood on the beach. I was as nervous as I stood at the altar with Michael my best friend and waited for Sally to arrive. She was going to walk down the aisle herself; there were about two hundred guest in the hot sun. A few moments later the limo arrived and the pianist played here comes the bride. She got out of the limo, and I couldn't breathe. I was so nervous; she looked so beautiful in her white wedding gown. She strolled down the beach towards me majestically and she smiled. I never believed in fairytales, I never believe in love or happy endings.

But at that moment looking at her, I did. She reached and the minister gave a long speech and it was time to give our speech. And then sally began to cry. 'Erm, I'm a good writer, I mean I wanted to be a journalist but I just couldn't seem to prepare anything decent. But I made a speech anyways. Joshua Hutchinson, ever since I was a young girl, I dreamt about this day and the groom was always you. I'm not going to lie that I'm terrified at this moment, I'm scared of what the future may bring, and I mean I must love you to be marrying you this young' everyone laughed. She got stuck on her speech, as her throat welled up with tears and I held her hands then she continued 'My life was so boring and empty without you, but you brought joy, fun and laughter and happiness. No matter what the future may bring I'm glad to be facing the future with you' everyone awed and clapped and Chloe standing next to Sally as her bridesmaid gave her a wink. It was my turn and I was so nervous, I never expected so many people to come, it was meant to be a small wedding, but Chloe and her father invited so many people and took care of everything in such a small time. My point was that I was a nervous wretch. And I did the most humiliating thing ever; I let a tear stream down my face.

'Sally, I just want to spend the rest of my life with you and take care of you and our baby for the rest of our life. I promise before God and all these people, to be a good Husband and father. I love you and I will stand by your'. She gave me a look, and I understood that look, she was saying she was proud of me and she loved me and I wanted her to stop looking at me that way.

The priest asked 'Do you Joshua Nathaniel Hutchinson, take sally to be you're lawfully wedded wife' I looked at sally and knew no other answer to the question 'I do'. The priest turned to Sally 'Do you Sally Mary Williams take Joshua Nathaniel to be your lawfully wedded husband' she looked at me. 'I do'. Everyone cheered. 'You may now kiss the bride' I shyly kissed her

Then when i moved away from her, there was blood on the lower part wedding dress; she held her stomach in hurry 'My Baby!' she looked at me so helplessly. Quickly, I took of my jacket and covered her and grabbed her straight for the limo to rush her to the hospital.
