Classroom: "Alright, does anyone know what happened...." Eric said, but was interrupted by Autumn. "We're actually learning something." Autumn asks. Eric nods. "Yes!" Autumn said.
"Now like I was saying..." Eric said, but was interrupted by Autumn again. "Sorry for interrupting you again sir, but let me check something first." Autumn said. "Okay." Eric agreed.
"Has anything new happened in anyone's life?" Autumn asked. "No." We said together. Autumn sighed in relief.
"Alright you can continue sir." Autumn said. "Alright, like I was saying does anyone know what happened..." Eric said, but someone opened the door.
"Hey don't start class without me." He said. I look at him.

I know that voice anywhere Kai. No that can't be he's in Texas. "What's your name?" Eric asks. Please not Kai. Please not Kai. "Kai Mitchell. A new student in your class and single." Kai said. "How's your grades?" Eric asks.
"All D's and one F." Kai said. "Same." Alex said. "Why are you here Kai?" I ask. "What kind of question is that. You should be happy to see me after all we're two of a kind." Kai said.
"We're not the same. I'm never going to be like you again." I said. "Fine. Anyway, where do I sit?" Kai said. "Anywhere." Eric said. "Anywhere huh." Kai said. He walks past Braidy and me.
"How about here next to this stunning girl." Kai said. "Are you talking about Jessamine?" Alex asks. "You're talking about me?" Jessamine asks.
"Yeah, unless you don't want me to." Kai said. "It's fine Cowboy." Jessamine said. "Oh cowboy. A nickname already. Alright Jessie." Kai said. "Gross." Alex and Braidy said together. "So how do you know Kai?" Braidy asks.
"Yeah, how do we know each other." Kai said. "Shut up Kai." I said. "You shouldn't be mean Mia. If you're like Mia. You're going to do great." Eric said. "What?! Mia you're actually doing good here." Kai said. "What do you mean?" Alex asks.
"Not being watched all the time and you have friends." Kai said. "Alright, that's it. We only have a few minutes left before the bell rings. Be quiet and let Eric talk." Autumn said.
"You call the teacher by his first name?" Kai asks. "It's an Eric thing. Now be quiet." Autumn said. "Okay, I was just asking a question." Kai said. "Well you can ask later. Now continue sir." Autumn said. "Okay, what happened...." Eric said, but was interrupted by Lucy.
"Lies." Lucy said.
"What do you mean Lucy Lu?" Eric asks. We look at her. "Sorry about this Autumn, but I have to." Lucy said. She gets up. "I know. I'm not a main student, you focus on, but I have a lesson of my own. Do you know when people tell lies and can you tell what's one true and what's one not." Lucy said.
"Wow, that's better than what I had." Eric said. He got ready to erase the board. "Please don't do it." Autumn said. "I have to." Eric said.
"Sir."
He erases the board. "Whyyyy!" Autumn shouted. "Alright, what are lies? Mia." Eric asks. "Oh, she should know a lot about that." Kai said. Braidy turns around. "Okay, what are you trying to tell us. We already know she fought in school." Braidy said.
Kai chuckled.
"Just a fighter. That's only one thing she did. Why don't you tell them you're one year older than them or your name not Mia." Kai said.
"That was a secret." I said. "I guess not anymore." Kai said. "That's enough Mitchell." Eric said. "So I'm guessing you know the truth." Kai said.
"Of course. I'm her teacher." Eric said. "Then you should know that she's no goody goody." Kai said. "What happened in Texas?" Braidy asks.
"Regrets."
