Chapter 4

Jade's POV

"Joshua Aden Brown, you get in here right this moment," I scream.

A few seconds ago I received a text from the landlord.

I heard Josh mumbling something until he finally came to my doorway looking irate. "What did I do now?"

I raise my brows at him, really? He's asking me what he did.

Without answering his question, I shoved my phone in his hands. He lifted my phone to his face so he would be able to read it. After reading it the expression of his face changed completely.

"I'm.." he started.

"You're what sorry? What happened? Why didn't you pay the bill, Joshua? I want to know the truth"

"I got in a fight at a fast-food restaurant and had to pay back the owner. I was going use the money from the new painting to pay it back, I haven't found a buyer as yet, I'm still looking."

"Josh, you can't keep getting yourself in these troubles. You're not only hurting yourself, you're hurting me also. Please promise me that you'll stop, please." I beg slowly. I am tired of trying to clean up his problems, I don't want him to die early. I want my brother to be with me but how can this happen if he loves getting into fights?

"I don't.."

"Please," I pled.

"Okay," he paused, "I'll also pay the rent money tomorrow, I'll try and find a way to get some money to pay it."

"No, it's fine. I'll pay for it." I suggest although I don't know exactly how I will. I am broke. I have no money in my bank book, not even a dime. All the expenses were just too much. Thank God for the deal I made with Mr. Dale.

The deal! Kyle and I have yet to discuss it and yet we had sex. I need to ask him tomorrow when I get to work.

"But how? you don't get paid until the end of the month."

"Josh, I don't worry. I'll pay for it tomorrow." I assured my younger brother. Not only will I pay Ms. Hall her rent but I'll also pay some other debts my brother made us fall in.

"Okay, thanks sis." He takes and deep breath then sighs. "I'm really sorry for always getting myself in trouble, it seems as if I can't help myself. But I'll try my best to ignore people, I will. If It makes you happy, I will not date anymore. I will not look for girls that are too expensive or that have boyfriends. I'll stay by myself. As hard as that sounds, I will. I will stay celibate."

I did the last thing he expected from me, I laughed. There is no way my little brother can stay celibate. He loves sex. He got arrested for public affections, yes, he was having sex in a public restroom. He was like a female dog on heat. He has to have sex. I don't think there has ever being a day when my twenty-year-old brother doesn't have sex. Josh likes all the attention the girls give him and that's one of the reasons for his problems and debts. Woman, that's his weakness. I don't think he can control his dick. That's just the sad truth.

"Why are you laughing?" he asks with a confused look on his face.

"You not having sex? Are you crazy? I know you are obsessed with sex so I don't think I can make you do such a bad thing."

"What! No, I'm not obsessed. I can control myself." He states but I just raised my brows.

"Really? If you weren't obsessed then why did you have sex in a public restroom, why did you have sex with Andrew Martin's car with his sister, if you are not obsessed remind me why you got fired from the library or do I need to remindyou?"
