Prologue
I am currently waiting on my best friend to get finished getting dressed so we can go to class. I swear she gets on my nerves. She is always late.
We were supposed to have been on our way to class but she decided she wanted to take forever to find an outfit and do her makeup. We live off campus in a two bedroom apartment which is within a eight mile radius of our school.
"I'm coming Nessa." She yelled from her bedroom.
I plopped back down on our couch while letting out a frustrated sigh. I knew I should have gotten my car fixed earlier this week instead of waiting until Thursday to get it fixed.
It is now Friday and they still aren't finished. The body shop said my car wouldn't be done until Monday because they don't work on weekends.
I was okay with it at first because me and Renee live together and we go to the same school and we do everything else together so why not. But, now I'm starting to hate myself because I forgot the two most important facts. Renee has no sense of time and I am very controlling.
"I'm ready boo," She said walking into the living room.
"Finally. What took you so long?"
"I couldn't figure out what color lip to put on."
"I'm about point two seconds away from cursing you out. Come on. You know I hate being late."
"Damn Nessa, calm your tits. The school is down the street. We will be there on time."
I just waived her off and walked out of our apartment and hopped into her all white Range Rover with her following suit after she locked up.
We pulled up to the school within ten minutes which left me about eight minutes to get to class.
"See, I told you we would get here on time. You owe me and apology for being mean to me." She said looking at me with a poked out lip while batting her eyelashes.
I wanted so bad to mush her face. But, seeing as though we did get here on time I decided to ignore her and get out of the car.
"Love you too! Have a good day in class baby!" She yelled to me and started laughing.
I blew her a kiss and flicked her off walking towards the direction of the building my class was in.
