Short breathing.
Ground teeth.

Irritation
Floods through my veins.
Pulse racing.
Pupils dilating.

Anger
Through harsh words spoken.
Bitter lies.
Tears fallen.

Despair
That all can be right.
Plummeting heart.
Shaky hands.

Hope
Blooms from damaged hearts.
Touch the shoulder.
Apologies given.

Restoration
Like lost soul found.
Hesitant exchange.
Calm behavior.

Love
Treasure beyond compare.
Once given,
Never lost.
