Electrocution

Shock me like you always do,
Electrocute my skin.
It burns like fire,
When you touch my chin.

Ask me who I am,
I answer "Nothing Without You."
Your eyes black in moonlight
Will carry me through.

Ask me what I'm thinking,
I wink, "I won't say."
Your eyes are melting butter,
My will begins to fray.

Soothe away my fears
The way you smooth my hair.
Like water in a little stream,
You wash away the care.

Again I say,
"I'm nothing without you."
Your eyes gold in the firelight
Will carry me through.

And when we are old,
With wrinkles and double chins.
You'll still have the touch of fire
That electrocutes my skin.
