They don't understand
They don't understand what we are dealing with at hand
They don't understand what we go through
That we have no one to go to
They don't know how much we struggle
When we were left out in the rubble
They don't know the pain, the heartache
How little money we or our parents make
They might have went through it at some time in their life
So they should know, right?
But it's like they forgot
How many battles we fought
Did they really forgot their childhood?
That not at all times we are good
Remember what it was like to be us?
That at hard tomes we would just give up
First time really facing and dealing with problems
Instead of running away from them when they seem to be near
Thinking we can always hide from fear
We might seem okay, but inside we are broken a
Things are not easy to say outspoken
The real reason why we do what we do
Say what we say
Can't always go your or even our way
Not everyone can be perfect
So don't expect us to be
We're already pressured, can't you see
We don't have to grow up right now
Like that's going to change anyhow
They say we're not children, but treat us like we are
Not like we pay taxes, or have to pay off the car
People always stereotype others
It could be because of their size or their color
They treat us differently because we might have made a fee mistakes
Not like some of them weren't or are ones you make
So don't tell me to get my act together
Not like that's gonna make the situation any better
Because even when I try to talk to you, you don't seem to care
Like it's so hard to get a little love anywhere
My own parent doesn't seem to, but like everyone says
Life's not fair
I got more problems to deal with than math
Like any if you people care if I'm happy or sad
You don't even care why I go off on a person who makes me mad
People say I have an attitude or anger problems
That I need to take management
Like that's gonna solve it
Because they just can't handle it
I don't need stupid classes
I need people to stop ticking me off
And you wonder why no one ever calls me soft?
I guess this people just don't like personality
But that's my reality
And that's who I am
So I really don't care if you don't like how I act, "ma'am"
To be honest I don't know who I am
And I'll figure that out
Cause that just another part if what life is about
Others may have the whole life thing figured out
But for me it's not that easy
And this might seem silly
But I always wonder to myself
Who am I, really
