Chapter 25 | Soaking Wet

Serris and I had a great conversation, She somehow resembles my sister.

I looked over to Sean who was playing with his phone.

Luckily, he didn't see me looking at him.

I looked over to my side with busy streets, crowded everywhere. Usual L.A

I looked over to my phone and saw my mom finally updated how they're doing.

"Hi anak!, make sure you're not naughty and lazy over there, We'll be back soon!" my mom texted.

"Okay Ma!, Stay safe!, Miss you!" I reply to her message.

It was currently 8pm, I had nothing to do. I started playing with my fingers due to boredom.

"Hey, Anne!" Sean says

I looked over to him with a ridiculous grin on his face.

"What now?" I ask

"Let's go!" He says trying to let me get up from my seat.

"Where?" I ask

"Just, trust me and follow" He says tugging my hand

I rolled my eyes and started to do what he says.

"What exactly are we doing here?" I ask

"Were here to watch the stars, and talk about stuff. In short, stargazing" Sean says

I nod.

"How was it back in the Philippines?" Sean asks.

"Well, its not much as fun here in L.A. Who'd knew I can get out of my comfort zone and just get out of that shell of shyness I live in." I reply

"Shhh!" Sean says

"Just look at how beautiful the stars are" He adds

I rolled my eyes. As if he forgot what he asked me.

Looking at the stars, its a pleasing view to look at.

We had a good 15 minutes of stargazing.

Suddenly, rain started pouring, heavily.

I stood up and carefully made my way down the rooftop.

As I got down, I was soaking wet.

"What were you kids doing?, playing in the rain?" Mrs.Lew asks

"We went stargazing but then it started raining" Sean says

"So, are you guys official yet?" Mrs.Lew asks

"Mom, Can you see us soaking wet?" Sean asks jokingly

"Oh, right!" Mrs.Lew says, getting a towel and giving them to each of us.

I chuckled.

I looked over to Sean who was wiping his hair with a towel.

Damn

I'm melting inside

WAIT, WHAT

"Umm, Anne?" Sean asks

I shook my head and looked down at my toes.

How embarrassing

"Anything wrong?" He asks

"Nothing" I reply
