Chapter 36 | Popcorn and Movies

"Hey Anne" Sean calls

"Yes?" I asked as I avert my gaze onto him

"You said you were hungry, right?" Sean asks

"Uhuh.. Wait. I did?" I asked, scooting my way over to him.

"So you were stalking me then" Sean says, letting out a laugh

"Of course not!" I defended myself

"Yeah right" Sean replies, sarcastically. As he made his way to the pantry and got some microwavable popcorn. He asked, "popcorn and movies today?" Sean asks.

"Actually, what about later at night instead" Sean insisted, with an exchange of expression.

"Let me ask my mom for a second" I say, grabbing my phone from my purse.

"Hey mom!"  I greeted

"Hi Anak, how was it?" My mom asks, as I hear utensils clumped up together on the phone.

"What chu cooking,Ma?" I asked.

"Your favorite!, Anyways answer my question anak"  Mom says

"Well, we didn't really go-" I cut at what I've said, which I totally forgot that we needed to play it off.

"What?" My mom asks

"Oh, what I meant was. It was great" I announced, happily.

"Good to hear!, so anak, I need to go. The food might get burnt" My mom says

"Wait! Ma, is it okay if I stay at Sean's house a little longer?" I asked

"Yeah sure, come home before 9PM, keep safe and take care!, love you anak!" My mom says, as she ends the call. Cutting me off before I reply back.

"So, you staying here a bit longer?" Sean asks, placing the medium sized sachets of microwavable popcorn in front of his face.

"How can I say no to popcorn and movies?" I replied

"Well, do you want me to teach you how to speak english again?"  Sean asks

"Thats so funny"  I replied sarcastically

 "Of course it is" Sean replies

I got up from the couch and grabbed the sachet type of paper bag things of the microwavable popcorn. 

I decided to place them myself on the microwave, and pressed in the time of the duration. After how many seconds, specifically about 25 seconds, it started popping and made a loud popping noise which caused me to scream.

"Woah, what happened?" Sean asks, trying to keep in a straight face

"Well, it popped loudly and i got scared"  I laughed

"Oh, really?" Sean asks, pretending to be clueless

"Got that on camera, didn't you?" I asked

"Im impressed" Sean exclaimed

"The struggles of being friends with Sean Lew" I joked (A/N: Ts, main goals in life is to be in seans snapchat :(( )

Minutes has passed, and as well as the popcorn is prepared

"Lets go?" Sean asks, holding a huge bowl of salted popcorn

"We shall!"  I exclaimed as I nodded my head

"Leggo"  Sean commanded

"Finding Dory?" Sean shrugs

"Okay" I laughed

We sat together on a comfy couch, a huge television in front of us, a Sean Lew beside me and a chilly night to sum up this day. How can this day get better?
