My Missing Piece | Sean Lew

Chapter 30 | Clueless

I woke up, clueless. I opened my eyes, most of my surroundings were white, till after a while. I got a good view of where I was. The ceiling was plain white, it was cold.

"shes awake!" I hear a voice say

"Wh-what?" I ask

"Well, you fell down on the floor real hard, So. Kenneth, Josh, Gabe took you to the nearest Hospital." My mom says

"So, you'll be staying here for a day, for some observations" Mom adds

I tried scanning the room, looking for Gabe,Josh and Kenneth

Sadly they weren't here

"Anne, Wake up" I felt a grab on my shoulder

I opened my eyes, the light was so direct i knew i had to close my eyes again.

I carried my body and got into a sitting position

"How was it?" I ask having a hoarse voice

"Everything is alright" Mom says 

Thank God.

"But you just need to take some medicines for the next three days"  Mom adds

"Oh, Good. But when will i be discharged?" I asked

"Probably tomorrow" Mom replies

"Oh, and you've got some visitors" Mom says

"Hope you're feeling better" Kenneth says

"Thank you, Gladly you guys were there to take me here. If it werent for you three, who knows what wouldve happened to me right now" I say

"No worries, important thing is, youre fine" Gabe says

"Thanks to you guys" I say getting them into a group hug

"Oh, and um. Wheres Sean?" I ask

"Over there" Josh says

"There!" He adds

I looked over to the window trying to find Sean, But all i saw was my mom muttering with their parents.

"Hey" Sean says, feebly

"Oh, Hi" I replied, smiling

"You okay?" I asked, honestly, i know im the one in the hospital right now. But with that tone and that face, I know thing arent going too well and, I  always have to be the person to ask if everything's fine.

"Seriously?" He chuckles

"There you go, One dimple approaching, one more to go" I laughed

"No, but seriously. You're really gonna ask me if im alright, when youre the one in the hospital?" Sean asks

"Pretty much" I reply, pulling my blanket closer

"I mean.. Look at you!, you're in a hospital bed, with a dextrose in your arm, wearing a hosptal suit!" Sean frowns

"Calm down, everything is fine. I'll probably go back home tomorrow" I chuckled

"Ow, if it wasn't for me, you wouldn't be in this situation right now" Sean says, looking red

"Come here!" I invited, inspecting the empty space of the bed, too big for one girl like me, i could  barely even occupy the whole space, though im a really playful person in the bed when im asleep. If i sleep on the other side of the bed, i end up waking up in the morning on the opposite side. 

"Here, Sorry for all the trouble i got you in to" Sean says handing me a container

"Pizza?" He asks

"Im on a diet, Sorry" I replied, joking

"Since when was the word 'diet' even belonged in you dictionary, tell me" Sean nags
