"Ready for the gathering, you four are. Hmmmmmm." Master Yoda stood in front of me and my training mates. I was the youngest of the 4, being only four years old myself.

"Ejiksega," He looked at the twi'lek female, who beamed.

"Cunee," The togruta boy waved.

"Owec," The nautolan boy didn't respond, as if he wasn't there, being the shy one.

"And little Mira." He smiled. I was hiding behind Cunee.

"Let's go, little ones. Yes, hmmm." He walked into a ship, followed by us. A padawan, Zett, followed us on board.

The ship flew to the icy planet of Ilum, where the Gathering took place. Zett asked us to assist him to open the temple, and we did, the ice falling from the cliff.

We went in, and looked in awe at the sacred place.

"Go into the temple, you must, young ones. And blocked, find your crystals before the temple is. Know, only you would which crystal is yours. " Yoda nodded, after a sheet of ice covering the entrance to the temple was destroyed.

We all ran in, and searched.

"I think we should stay together." Cunee said.

"But then we won't find our crystals quickly enough. We should split up." Owec replied.

"How about two groups?" Ejiksega asked. She looked at me. "What do you think Mira?"

I blinked before answering. "I think we can do groups, but when we see our own crystal, we should break up."

"That works." They nodded. "I'll go with Owec." Cunee said.

"I'll go with Mira." Ejiksega nodded. The two of us ran one direction, the boys the other.

"Do you hear that?" My partner asked, skidding to a stop after a few minutes.

"No. It must be your crystal!"

"Where is it?" She looked around, before seeing a passage. "This way!" She ran down it, and I followed.

She looked around before seeing a glowing light only visible to her. "I see it! Across the waters..."

"Hey! Be careful! If you fall in, you'll freeze to death!" I yanked her back, a bit scared.

"Come on Mira, it's just water..."

"But Ejik..." I looked down.

"Hey, it'll be ok. See? Look, the ice over there is freezing back over. Once it's close enough, I'll go to the wall where I see my crystal, ok? You should go find yours. Don't wait up for me, ok?"

"Oh... Ok..." I turned and ran off. I searched all the halls, and was getting scared that I was lost.

"Hello?" I shouted, "Anyone there?" My voice echoed off the walls.

I started running again, losing hope. "Where could it be? The wall must almost be frozen by now..." I whimpered.

I curled up into a ball, freezing. "I'm gonna die here..." I thought, sobbing slightly, before remembering the words of a friend.

"Do not lose hope. Life will not vanish if you stay strong."

"Thank you..." I thought to myself, standing up, and continued searching. Soon, I found a small glowing light and saw a crystal. "My crystal!" I quickly ran towards it before almost falling over a cliff. Yelping, I skidded to a stop.

Looking at the gap, I guessed it wouldn't be too hard for me to jump over. Backing up, I jumped over, only to have calculated wrong and missed it, only being able to grab it with the tips of my fingers.
