Bionic showdown: Pt. 2

"What do you mean, you're our father?" Chase asked and I nodded. "Yeah, he is our father." I said pointing at Mr. Davenport, causing the guy to shake his head. "No, that's what he's been telling you." The guy said and I shook my heading, on the verge of tears. "I don't know who you are, but you're going down." Adam said before lunging at the guy but he pressed a button and we ended up in the cage with Mr. Davenport. "You mastered short-range teleportation before I did? I've been working on that for years!" Mr.Davenport said. "I know. I'm awesome." The guy said. I looked at him. "You're still going down." Adam said before stepping forward, then stopped holding up his arm. "My super strength. It's gone." He told us. Then Bree stepped forward and stopped also. While Chase put his fingers on the side of his face. I tried to turn invisible but it didn't work. "So is my speed." Bree said. We looked at Chase and he sighed in defeat. "I've got nothing." He said and they looked at me. "My invisibility is gone." I said looking down. "Try your others." Chase said and I nodded. I tried to geo-leap but it didn't work, then I tried turning into a tiger but that didn't work either. I tried my speed, my strength, and my superior intelligence and got nothing. "Nope, everything is gone." I said and sighed. "That's because I designed these lasers to block the signals from your bionic chips. That's right. Daddy gave you toys, but he can also take them away." The guy said and I gave him a death glare.

Leo pov (surprise!)

"Eddie, they're trapped. What am I gonna do?" I asked looking up at him from the laptop. "Well, if I know you, I'm sure it'll involve a sad little plan and an epic fail. Good luck." He told me and I paced back and fourth. "All right, if I go to the authorities, I'll blow their bionic secret. I'm just gonna have to go there and rescue them myself." I said and Eddie cackled cause me to turn to his screen. "Oh, you're serious." He said. "Yes. But I won't stand a chance against Marcus's bionics if I go there empty handed." I said looking all over me and sighing. "You're not going to." Eddie said and I looked at him. "What?" I asked. "Donald told me that in a worst case scenario, someone has to push this button." He said and a red button popped up under Eddie on the screen. "And you being the only one left is the worst case scenario." He told me and I walked over and pushed the button. Causing a beeping sound and a hologram appeared behind me. "Whoa. It's a hologram." I said before walking over to it. "Adam, Bree, Chase, Dani, if you're watching this, something terrible has happened. Its time for you to become the heroes you were always meant to be. And whatever it is you're about to face, I know you can handle it without me." Hologram big d said. "It's not what he told them yesterday." I said. "Though your bionics are amazing, they may not always be enough. So step into the elevator, Eddie will take you to a secret floor below the lab:my weapons vault." He said and I turned to look at Eddie smiling. "He has a secret weapons vault?" I asked and turned back to hologram Big D. "And Leo, if you are watching this, I do not have a secret weapons vault!" He told me and I ran to the elevator.

*Secret weapons vault*

When I the elevator doors I quickly steeped out to see a lot of cool weapons. "Whoa. Look at all this." I said before grabbing a duffle bag. "A room full of stuff you can use to hurt yourself. I should've showed you this a long time ago." Eddie said and I ignored him, shoving weapons into the black duffle bag. "How am I supposed to use it if I don't know how it works?" I asked looking at the weapon in my hands. "When has that ever stopped you before?" Eddie said and he made a good point. "Good point. Let's do this." I said grabbing more weapons and putting them in the bag.

Dani pov:

"Well, Marcus. We finally captured them. Actually, I captured them. Me, me, Me, me, me." The guy said. I looked at Marcus and Chase and walked over to them. "You got one of those too, huh?" Chase asked. "You have no idea." Marcus said and I sighed. "Come on. We got work to do." The guy said and Marcus followed, raising his hands up like he wanted to strangle Douglas, and the walked off. I then looked at Mr. Davenport. "Mr. Davenport. Why did that guy say that he was our father?" I asked him. "Because, technically, he is your father. And my brother." He said. "What? How is that even possible?" Chase asked and I nodded. "Wait, so does this mean that Chase is also my father?" Adam asked and I rolled my eyes at his stupidity. "Years ago, Douglas and I started Davenport industries together. It was great. We had a cute, little lab. Not as good as the big lab I have now, but then we didn't nearly have as much money--" he said but Bree cut him off. "Get to the point." She said and I nodded. "Right. We developed bionics so that robots could do the jobs that were too dangerous for people. But then, Douglas went behind my back and implanted them into genetically engineered humans." He said and I crossed my arms. "You mean us?" Adam asked stupidly again. "No, Adam. The Green Bay Packers." I said sarcastically. "Your bionic chips were never designed to be interfaced with the human nervous system." He said and I sighed. "So that's why we glitch." Chase said and I looked at Mr. Davenport. "Exactly." Mr. Davenport said. "Oh. And all these years I just thought it was 'cause you're a terrible scientist." Adam said and I elbowed him. "Douglas also hid all kinds of secret codes in your chips. That's why you have all these mysterious new abilities popping up out of nowhere." He told us. "So, if your brother created us, how did we end up with you?" I asked him. "He wanted to make you into cyber-soldiers of mass destruction. But I knew that if I raised you in a safe environment, I could train you to be bionic heroes. So I built the lab and I hid you there." He replied. "Wow. So everything we've ever known about ourselves, about you, it's all been..." Chase said and I sighed. "One big lie." Bree said, and I looked down. "Wow. This changes everything. Oh! Am I Jewish?" Adam asked and I shook my head. "Please tell me there's an unexpected twist to where I find out that I'm not related to him." Bree said and I nodded. "Oi, this one with the futzing and the complaining." Adam said and I rolled my eyes. "Look, I wanted to tell you guys, but I figured the less you knew, the safer you'd be." Mr. Davenport told us and I shook my head. "But we trusted you. If you were lying about this then who knows what else you were lying about." I said and sighed. "Exactly." Adam said grabbing Mr. Davenports hair and pulling. "Ow! What're you doing?" He asked Adam. "He's not lying about the hair, just looks fake." Adam said looking at Bree, Chase, and I then back at Mr. Davenport and finally let go of Mr. Davenports hair.
