Third Person POV
Ash and Serena both decided to take a moment to themselves. Ash returned to their room to change and Serena decided to get something to eat after not having anything since early yesterday. After checking on the Pokemon both went to do those very things. The Pokemon continued their chat. Braixen removed her bandaging and began to test her injury to see if it was still serious. She only felt a slight pain but was relieved she could walk again. She felt sorry for Pikachu who still had a pain in his arm but he could now move it around a lot easier without it being too painful.
Braixen,Greninja and Pikachu POV
All three Pokemon looked at each other each having a different expression. Greninja had a mix of concern and relief. Braixen one of exhaustion after lugging herself and a crutch around in a forest. Pikachu was also exhausted but a mischievous smile was plastered on his face. This was partly due to Braixen and Greninja and to his interruption of his partners tender moment. "Your sure you are ok? If you need anything just let me know." Greninja croaked with concern. "I'm fine really, feeling a lot better than before." Braixen replied with a small blushing smile. "Its nice to know you care though." Pikachu watched them amused. "You two lovebirds about done?" Pikachu smirked. They both blushed and glared down at the electric mouse who still hadn't lost that devilish grin. "Shut up Pikachu, we got enough of that from Ash, which reminds me of what I'm gonna do to him when I next get the chance." Braixen said with a touch of malice. Pikachu and Greninja sweat dropped then the three burst out laughing. They began to exchange their stories about what happened on either end of their forest excursions.
Wait, she was gonna confess to Ash!?" Greninja and Braixen exclaimed in tandem. Pikachu nodded at the two. "What about Ash, did he say anything that hinted towards his feelings for her?" Pikachu inquired. "Plenty. Its like he was saying to her, she was the only thing he could think about. Its clear he loves her. The way he reacted to Team Rocket seemed like one of the most obvious signs." Braixen immediately realised her mistake. Pikachu chuckled. "Yeah, he was not very happy, you only get that angry when you act in defense of the ones you love. Isn't that right Greninja?" Both Pokemon blushed but Braixen realised something. "Greninja, do you see me how Serena and Ash see each other?" She asked with a hopeful smile. Greninja didn't know what to do, he was a warrior trained in the toughest of situations. How did he combat this? He looked into Braixen's fiery eyes which burned with the passion he loved. Without anyway to respond he sighed in defeat and nodded. Braixen squealed in delight and pulled the now blushing blue frog into a hug. Pikachu watched with a smile. "One down, one to go." He said to no one in particular. He smiled at his two friends and then glanced at Serena who had just finished her meal. "Guys, I think its time we watch another confession." He said to the two Pokemon as he watched her ascend the Pokemon Center staircase.
Ash's POV
I had gotten out of my winter themed attire and changed into more casual shirt and jeans. My thoughts were no longer swimming in my mind, I no longer worried myself to the point of exhaustion. My mind was finally at peace because everything was right again. Of course, one thought did stick out for me. I was afraid Serena would not return my feelings, but why would she have kissed me back in the forest? And why would the argument have hurt her so much? She was as happy to see me as I was to see her. There was only one surefire way for me to find out. I would have to confess my love to her. Regardless of her reaction it will be one final weight to lift off my shoulders. I stepped out towards the balcony that our shared room came with. I leaned on the metal railing and looked out into the dark forest. The sun had now fully set now. As usual it inevitably lost to the darkness. But once again, as usual, its shining distant brethren lit up the sky in place of their fallen brother. The stars seemed particularly bright tonight. They appeared to fight each other for dominance in the sky. I imagined a battle of Pokemon constellations. The Kyogre and Groudon constellations stared each other down. Two stars seemed to stare at me intensely, I stared back and their gleam gave me déjà vu. Suddenly, the door opened behind me and the it suddenly seemed clear why the stars were so familiar. They glimmered in the center of a pair of ocean blue sapphires which made me utterly relax as they entered the room. "Hey Serena."
