I went up to the roof with my sniper. The window parallel to the clinic was perfect practice. Most of the windows were still in tact and the streets were empty, but just in case I twisted the silencer on. I shot the first window and it fell with a clatter. Then the next, planting straight in the middle, leaving a hole with cracking veins around it.

"Will, huh?" Max said sitting on the edge of the roof in front of me, away from where I was shooting,

"Demi, huh?" I said kind of mockingly,

"You don't understand it Alex-"

"What? What don't I understand? I saw you two yesterday on the roof"

He was quiet and he just sat in silence and watched me fire at another window,

"Hey Max" Will greeted, his sniper, over his back,

"Congratulations on being in team three," Max said getting up and patting his back before leaving,

Will lined himself on the floor next to me, positioning the gun on the stand,

"Windows?" he asked, straightening it,

I nodded and shot another one. How could he do this to me? First he makes me fall in love with him then he's with Demi, then he's hating on me for being with someone that made me happy? I was snapped out of my 'mind-rant', when Will shot the window with a loud bang.

"Will! Put the silencer on!" I say looking down at the streets. Nothing. I looked at him, "Will, you have to be more careful, we could've been heard," And just then another shot was fired, not from either us,

"Holy shit!" he yelled about to jump onto his feet,

"What are you doing? Get down!"

I looked back at the street and saw the two jeeps parked, hidden behind a short wall. There were about six of them, "We have to kill them" I said re-positioning the gun,

"What?"

I didn't have time to explain, instead I just patiently adjusted the direction. I took a deep breath, and pulled the trigger. I hit one. That one shot triggered numerous bullets from the mutant troop. I adjusted it again this time hitting two at a time. Will joined in and shot one of them, and then another. I was scared but if we didn't stop them, the building would get unexpectedly raided and we wouldn't have time to prepare. The last one hid reluctantly behind the wall, turning to shoot and then ducking to hide. This time I positioned it to where his hide would be when he turned again. He turned quickly... I pulled the trigger... his blood staining the wall behind him.

"You did it!" Will said putting a hand on my shaking shoulder,

"We did it"
