Vacation Day : 2

Here we are, walking along the pure white sand... The crystal clear blue ocean on our left and the different stalls a good feet away from us and the sand shore on our right. Feeling the breeze of the sea against our skin, feeling fresher more and more each hour that ticks by. I ran my hand through my hair and smiled a small smile as I imagine what it would be like if I have Anata at my side right now. Just gazing at the vast unending sea, side by side, together, and happy and... 'this is not something I should be thinking about right now.' I pinched my thigh to get my head in the game and remember.

'This occasion is for us ladies and no matter what, anything that concerns that wonderful husband of mine is not supposed to enter my mind. Filter! Filter it ouuuuttt~!'

An imaginary chibified me re-emerged from my mind and started to shoo away Anata's wonderful wonderful image.

'Ah... I'm hopeless.'

"Wifey you alright?" Lazzet gently but firmly took hold of my shoulder as she gave me her attention, wonder etched unto her facial expression.

"Un, I just thought about something... don't ask what, my mind is just a bundle of random thoughts, it will be hard to understand in a short amount of time"

We walked at the back of our group as we chatted up a bit as we look around some more.

We decided to eat our late lunch at RedLovesters and luckily we were seated in a comfortable six seater booth. On the left side of the table sat Athena, Rosalie and Ouka while Libelle, Lazett sat with me on the other side.

The place was quite lovely, the wooden floor boards were thick and sturdy. The ceiling was high enough for a good ventilation while at the same time low enough to give balance and share a homey feeling to its customers. The interior decor was simple: small potted plants are aligned and attached to the inner walls giving a cool green atmosphere with floral accents here and there to make things livelier and smell wonderful. The tables gave this smooth and soft look that invites you to come and dine while its chairs looked comfortably soft to touch.

The whole place slowly but surely takes the stress away from our sore and tired bodies with its natural beauty and simplicity that I just can't help but sigh in content. Nothing beats simplicity and that is a fact for me.

"Soo, what do you girls want to eat?" I asked and drank from my glass of water. I leaned my body forward, using my elbows as a leverage against the soft wooden surface of the table.

"Let's see..." Libelle tucked some loose strands of hair behind her ear and narrowed her eyes looking towards the laminated menu.

"Oh! It says here that they have some 'banana split', oh! Then some 'peach melba' then they have a 'some fruit trifle' and -"

"How about we order something warm first? Like some broth soup? It will be nice for our tummies." Athena suggested to Rosalie before she gets even more enticed with ordering desserts first.

"Mou, hai hai~" Rosalie sulked but quickly smiled again as she turn her menu around and scan for non-dessert related items.

Ouka let out a few laugh along with Lazett, who flipped her menu from the back to the front with a sheepish smile partially hidden from the view of the others.

"How about we order some of this, then we can add a side dish of that one-" Libelle started pointing out towards our menu, "then add an order of this succulent fish along with those mouth-watering clams and oysters. Toss some salad too as one cannot just eat without vegetables. A meal will not be complete without it." We nod our heads completely wrapped up with the words that comes out of her mouth while considering it all while our brains absorb them up. "This one has some soupy broth that Athena is looking for and I say we go for it as it looks very appetizing..." and like a pro, she followed up with a well thought of dishes to order that will fill our stomach with good food that harmonize with each other, "and lastly, for dessert we can have these amazingly fresh fruit platter to cleanse our palate."

"All of those who agreed with what she said say I~" stupefied with awe and at the same time digesting her words properly inside our minds, we find no harm or anything non-agreeable with her suggestion and thus,

"I~" All five of us said in unision and smiled happily. Ready to order. Food here we come~!

"Ano... Sumimasen demo, I'll go to the comfort room in a bit." I excused myself and stood up declining the offer of Ouka-chan to accompany me.

I washed my hands and dried them up. Smiling to myself as I head back to our table.

And as I turn at the corner, I noticed a mop of lilac on the reflection of the glass wall.

"A..na..ta?" I was about to turn around when a lady excused herself on my side. Oops. I accidentally hogged the walk path... Seriously... why am I thinking of Anata at times like this?! There are other people with violety lilac hair and he is not the only one... maybe I should peak? Just a littttle bit?

'Aaannddd... like I said... hopeless. I'm a hopeless case.'
