After hours on the train, the girls finally arrived in Hardgeon. As they walk to the hotel where they are staying, Lucy thought she saw someone following them, but couldn't get a good look. She asked Wendy if she could smell anything unusual. "I can't smell anything" Wendy replied" I'm sorry my nose isn't as good as Natsu's." "It's ok Wendy, I was just wondering" Lucy said
"Hey Levy, do you know where Lucy is?" Natsu asked back at the guild. "Oh hey Natsu" Levy said " I think she went on a job with Wendy." Natsu was surprised. Lucy always went on jobs with him. He thought that something was wrong and went to ask Mira where they were headed.
Later on, in the hotel room, Wendy lay down on her bed as Lucy came in from the bathroom. As Lucy climbed into bed, Wendy buried her head in her pillow. She couldn't stop the tears now. She let them out but as silently so she didn't wake Lucy up. Why did it have to happen to her? Of all people. The silent tears kept coming.
