Chapter 19

"So whom you murdered?" I opened my eyes still travelling blurred memories of my past.

"A vicious kitten" I said keeping the blank face.

"Don't you want to attend Aunt's girly party?" I smiled.

"I need to go back to hotel for that. We're in different part of city now"

"I know, this city is my home" and my eyebrows perked up.

"This is?" He nodded. Wow, son of bitch was Italian.

"So are you?" Before I can speak he covered my mouth and immediately jerked me down. I didn't understand why!

Soon I heard a bullet. And then another bullet. One by one they were showering bullets and I was looking at Jayden in horror.

"They know I'm here" I said in troubled expression.

"Well what a warm welcome" he grinned. I nudged his shoulder and earned a gasp.

"Your car is bullet proof?" I asked casually.

"You have a death wish? Then I'll just throw you out" I glared  him.

"You know what?" Instead of saying, I tried to unlock the damn door but it was locked. He smirked.

"If you really have death wish, then why don't I use this opportunity?" I giggled.

"Jayden I'm so scared.. You will kill me? Awwww" I forgot what happened at the apartment and we were teasing each other where as outside they were trying to smash the damn car.

"Sean" he called and nodded. So Sean whom I'm assuming is his bodyguard pressed one button and I heard a huge blast outside. Land beneath the car was trembling.

"You just did not-" I gasped.

"Oh I have license to use ammunition for self-defense " he said with smile. How can a guy smile when you're almost trapped among bunch of gangsters.

"Clear Sir" he said and the car started moving again.

I didn't utter a word, just went back on my seat. Too shocked to even call him, I closed my eyes and let drowsiness embrace me.

"Wake up princess, your prince is kidnapped" someone nudged me. Being the clumsy I am, I slapped a soft thing. Mumbling gibberish, I went to my slumber.

"Pig" muttered someone. Cold hands slipped through my waist, but they were warm at the same time. I was being lifted, but I was too lazy to open my eyes. I surely had bruises all over my body but I was still wrapped up in my little cocoon thinking how he was alive.

"For a teenager you surely sleep a lot"

"For a teenager you surely annoy a lot" I was mumbling in slow voice.

Before I know, I was soaked in cold water. I screamed in horror as who the criminal was? When I was Jayden chucking my heart melted someway, but my brain being opposite of me, I hit him with a shampoo bottle which went straight to his head. He fell back with a thud, groaning in pain, I chuckled lightly.

"Serves you right" but when I saw blood oozing his scar, I felt bad. I immediately rushed towards the first aid box and took his head in my soaking wet lap. He glared me with anger, yet adoration.

"Now princess is soothing me.. For a girl, you're quite dysfunctional" I narrowed my eyes at him and pressed more gauze of alcohol near his wound earning a groan.

" I feel same about you. Dysfunctional" After bandaging his wound, I sighed.

"You know, why I don't have helpers?" I asked him casually, but he looked amused.
