"No... No... Please...please... Papy? No... PAPYRUS!"
Sans woke up again in cold sweat as he sat up on his bed. His mind was clouded, palms were sweaty, and he was really surprised. It was just another nightmare that included his brother dying or possibly losing all means of contact with him. He was really tired of it, seeing all bad things happen to Papy. He was so sick of it, he wanted to end his pain. Believe me, he would have already done that by now after seeing all possible endings to Frisk's runs, but seeing Papy everyday of his life, made him hold on. He didn't want Papy to get hurt, especially if that hurt is caused by him mysteriously leaving on day... He couldn't do that to Papy, not with his pure soul.

He heard footsteps coming, as if running towards his room,"SANS! WHAT'S WRONG BROTHER!?! I HEARD YOU YELL FOR GREAT PAPYRUS!" Did Sans just shout in his sleep? He wasn't even sure if he could shout. Huh, you learn something new everyday. "Well, uh... It's nothin' Pap, just another nightmare. Yah know, the usual kind." Papyrus was puzzled,"IS IT THE ONE WHEN THE LEFTOVER SPAGHETTI EATS YOU INSTEAD OF IT!?! IF IT IS, THEN IT'S OK BROTHER, I HAVE EXPERIENCES THAT ONE TOO." Sans couldn't react, did his brother really dream about it? He thought maybe he needed to give Undyne a good talk... face to face. He just stood there for awhile, muttering,"The one when spaghetti is eating... me? No, no, not that one. Just, yah know, the usual ones." Papyrus tilted his head to the right, he couldn't think of another dream he had experienced after that. He kept thinking for another dream as Sans watched the clock tick away. He felt a chill down his spine, (and no fellow readers, it's not his sins.), his bedroom window was open, allowing the cold, crisp air come into the room. He looked out the window seeing as most of Snowdin was still asleep, aside from that Rabbit lady, she was still walking her pet. "BROTHER, I REALIZED THAT IT IS STILL LATE AT NIGHT! SO I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, AM GOING TO GO BACK TO BED." Papyrus said as he yawned with his armed stretched outwards. He opened the door and left the room scratching his backside. Sans plopped back on his bed, releasing an audible sigh of relief, "At least I don't have to tell him about the nightmare anymore." He thought. Remembering the human he would meet the next day, he realized that they had just reset recently. "Why can't they stick to just one run? Why do they have to make my life a never ending torture? ....  Guess I'll never know." He stopped thinking about everything, the sadness, hate, and all that. Just laying on his bed, he did what he does best.... sleep.

Sans woke up that morning hearing Papyrus screaming in the kitchen. "SANS! COME DOWN QUICK!!!!" It echoed through the walls of their little house. Sans was crawling out of bed with his signature blue jacket in his hands. As he went down the stairs, he let out a yawn with his arms stretched wide, just as Papyrus did it the previous night. "What's up Papy? Pancakes today?" He was as calm as he always is. But that smiley facade faded away when he heard that one specific line... that line...
"A HUMAN!!!!!!" Sans rushed down the stairs like there was no tomorrow, using a shortcut to kitchen even if Papy might see it. His eye raging with deep blue colors, trailed by a light blue-green aura. He wasn't supposed to meet the kid until later that day, they weren't supposed to be there in the Skeletons' house until later in the evening. Nothing was supposed to happen until later, but... they had to go there now. "What're you doin' here kid?" Sans arrived just in time, seeing the kid freeze by the open living room door. Papyrus still dizzy from spinning around in circles from finding a human. The meek and feeble human mumbled as they stood bye the door, "Sans, it's important. The void... Is... Is... O-open." Frisk passed out from the cruel and harsh winds of Snowdin town. Their hands held close to their chest, like they were trying to protect their soul.    Papy, regained his disposition when he heard a loud thump coming from the living room. He came to find Sans holding the human in his arms, covering them in his blue jacket. They were shivering, their toes looked like they were frost bitten and they seemed like they had a bad day. Papy was heartbroken, such a small creature couldn't withstand the cold Snowdin. He thought he needed to take care of them, to be there for them in their time of need. Sans felt the same way, but was more worried about the void being opened. He sensed a vile presence come into the house, like it had been isolated for so long, it didn't even have a soul for that matter. Oh, bad things were going to happen, he knew that.

Frisk woke up in Sans's bed, clinging to the jacket covering their body to protect them from the cold. They walked up to the door and walked towards the couch, from then on they just collapsed in it. It took them a while to process everything happening recently.  They were still confused about everything. From around the corner of their eye they saw Sans watch them from a distance, looking at them with such concern. He looked as if he was waiting for someone to come back to him, someone he held dear. Although that would never be them right? Pushing that thought away, they walked up to him, wanting to talk about the void, "Sans, something is wrong. Something is seriously wrong."
