You woke up to the sound of birds singing and Chica, yours and Mark's dog, panting in your ear and you smile. Today was the day Mark was coming home from PAX East and you missed his hugs and his goofy personality. You get up and make yourself a cup of coffee (or tea) and feed Chica before sitting down and drinking your coffee (or tea). You didn't realise what the time was and you soon hear the front door opened and closed.
"Rachel! I'm home baby girl!"
You jump out of your seat and run into the hallway jumping into Mark's open arms. You bury your head in his neck and he walks with you in his arms to your bedroom and lays down still holding you. You stay like that for what seemed like a lifetime when Mark kisses your head.
"I misses you baby girl"
You smile and together you spend all day talking about his time at PAX east and your time away from him.
