Just wish me goodbye
Promise me you won't cry
Maybe one day I'll fly
But I can't if I don't tryWelcome to my mind
Something you'll never find
Stop running around blind
And watch the stars alignedIf it's beauty you see
Then it must not be me
Not even if you say it to be
I'll sail on a thoughtful seaOnce I reach time's end
Then maybe I'll have more to lend
And then I'll bend
Becoming a true friendBut I can't fly like a dove
And all I want is love
Waters pour from above
Nobody calls belovedSlam the doors
Run in the floors
Be free like wild boars
I'm not covered in soarsYou tried to open my book
People think they know me by one look
Like the earthquake shook
I'm a fish on a hookI'm crying for sleep
But no! I can't weep
Like the car horn BEEP
I'm an ocean with depths too deepTake hold of my hand
Sing to your favorite band
Together we'll stand
On this forgotten landBut that's only in my dreams
And I'm walking by streams
Look at the color of the sun's beams
And notice how my face gleamsIf only that were me.
