"Salt and Allison will be the lead role" I frowned when I heard Rosa.
Why is she included in the play?
Salt immediately argued with Rosa, but accepted the role when she learned that the play will have intimate scenes.
I don't like doing plays and most of all, I don't like to be paired with her so I immediately stood up which caused my chair to screech.
"I can't play the lead role" I said before putting down the book that I am reading.
"What?!" they blurted out in shock.
"I can't I'm sorry" I repeated while thinking of a better excuse.
"Is it because you don't like Salt to be your partner?" Missy asked.
I clenched my fist because of annoyance but I still faked a smile.
"I'm not sure if I'm here at the festival because that's the day of my entrance exam in Harvard" I rejoiced mentally when they all nodded in understanding.
"Well there's nothing we can do about it. Let's continue this meeting tomorrow and should start looking for Allison's proxy" Rosa said dismissing the topic before standing up.
I decided to stay for a couple of minutes to finish the book that I'm reading . Salt also stayed but I pretend that she's not existing.
"I'm sure you'll pass the exam in Harvard" she said smiling but I know that she's upset.
"I hope you can still attend the festival on the last day" She added when I didn't respond.
"Of course I will" I finally said.
"Really? So are you taking a passenger plane? or you have your own?"
"No, I'm not going anywhere" I said before taking out my phone and started stalking Cara Delevingne's instagram.
"What? You said earlier that you're going to take the entrance exam in Harvard" She asked confused.
I glanced at her for a moment before turning back to my phone.
"Oh so that's a lie" She said sounding upset.
"Yes I will take the entrance exam but it will be a week after the festival" I replied flatly
"Then why did you decline the lead role? The script is good!" She blurted out in frustration.
"Simply because I don't like it" I said before shooing her away. It's annoying me that she asks too many questions.
"But why?" I groaned to myself, I don't know why I'm still indulging her.
"I hate where the part falls into place and everything goes lovey dovey because it bores me and besides, there's no such thing as happy ending" I said dismissing the subject.
"Fine" I sighed in relief when she finally said.
I immediately put down my phone when she left and focused on reading my book again, I am currently in the climax of the story and I don't want to be interrupted again.

"Of all people here in the campus why did you choose Luna?" I asked Rosa as soon as we both settled in our seat. We're going to have a meeting again regarding the schedule of practice for the play.
"There's no one that fits the role, you can't play the lead and Missy is too young. You know that its has a kissing scene and Luna will be good at it" she replied while reading the scripts.
I put down my book and crossed my arms while gazing at her intently. I want to argue but she has a point because Luna can act naturally because she's a certified player.
"Can't you just exclude the kissing scene?" I inquired after a moment.
"Negative, it's the best part of the story" she said dismissing the topic.
"Oh my, I forgot to make a copy of the script for Luna, I'll be back in ten minutes" She added before standing up.
If only she will exclude the kissing scene then I might accept the role. I don't want to do that kind of intimate things to Cassy's duplicate because it will only remind me again of her.
I stood up and about to also leave when Luna entered.
"Why did you decline the lead role?" She asked me suspiciously.
I didn't respond because she already knows the answer. I opened the door but she kicked it back.
"It's none of your business" I said sharply before opening the door for the second time but she kicked it again.
"What a great scenario. Imagine me kissing Cassy, that would be interest----" I didn't let her finish. I grabbed her neck and pinned her to the wall as soon as I heard Cassy's name.
"Don't you fucking say her name again or I'll kick you out of here" I threatened while pointing my finger on her face.
She just snorted before pushing me away.
"Then don't drag me with your mess! The reason I accepted this lead role is because of you, clear up your mind before I enjoy kissing Cassy's duplicate" she said angrily before walking out of the room.
"Moron!" I groaned in anger before sitting back on my chair.
**
After a few weeks of memorization, the actual practice finally came. All of the senior students are inside the auditorium to watch, including me. I hesitated to come at first but my mind is bugging me, the picture of Luna kissing Cassy kept on flashing on my mind.
Salt looked really nervous, my frown deepened when Luna puts her hand on her lips.
Luna you're such a flirt!
"Okay let's start, silence everyone" Rosa cued. All of the lights went off afterwards, leaving only the spotlight on.
Salt started to deliver her lines without a trace of nervousness that I saw earlier. I'm standing at the side of the stage to clearly watch them.
Salt and Luna are good actresses, and watching the both of them pisses me off. A realization came rushing to me as I watch them, I won't be able to stand to see Salt being kissed by Luna. I am the only one that can kiss her because she has Cassy's face.
I switched the lights on just before their lips touch.
"What the fuck! Who turned the lights on?" Rosa blurted out in anger.
"Me" I said flatly as I walked on the stage.
"Allison...why?" Rosa asked frowning.
"First, don't curse when everyone's around. Second, my entrance exam was moved a week after the festival so I will be playing the lead role" I explained facing her.
She just nodded in understanding before releasing a heavy sigh.
"Are you participating today?" Missy inquired.
"No, give me one week to memorize everything" I said smiling sweetly.
Luna is smirking while making her way towards me.
"I thought you like me to see kissing Cassy. I'm a better kisser than you, too bad Salt won't be able to experience it" she whispered before walking away.
"Bitch" I cursed under my breath.
My eyes then averted to Salt, she looked so relieved right now. Even though I hate her, I can't afford to see her lips touching others than mine.
