I finally have a big room with a bathroom, o guess being a captain has its perks. New recruits keep coming, but their mostly all lazy, I get to choose my cadets after Levi, since he is " humanity's strongest solider" but apparently I got titled "humanity's youngest strong solider", to be honest that a really long title. My cadets are forced to train everyday, Supposedly I'm "scary" and "unapproachable", I may not smile but I'm not some monster, there hasn't been much Titan activity recently. Apparently my squad only come out without no one knowing, so we're basically un known. I don't mind I have plenty of paper work to do, damn you Erwin!! A couple days ago after saving more that 160 cadets and killing 219 Titans the king wanted me to be a commander for the Scouts Erwin was present when the king announced that ...... I quickly declined the offer. Everyone wAs dumbfounded. The conversation went like this..
"Y/n I as the king wish to appoint you as the commander of the scouts, you will be taking over Erwin's position, I have come to that conclusion after you saved 16 squads and killed an abundance of Titans, humanity thanks you, so do you accept this offer?"
" thank you my lord but I must decline who am I to take over such a difficult job when this man has lead humanity farther than I will ever lead??" You say pointing to Erwin
*gasp " she's so stupid for declining" "she's no better than an infant" the crowd says
You quickly take out your gears sword and point it to the mans chest who called you an infant " I'd watch your mouth from where I'm standing your nothing but a selfish pig you have your weight to prove it, you sit on your lazy ass all day while others go risk their lives to save your lazy ass" you say I a really dark tone

TCH why do people make a big deal about her not accepting being commander of the scouts?? No one wants that job, but why did it hurt when the Kings asked y/n to leave the scouts??
She's nothing more than a brat, a pain in my ass. Would she accept and leave these brats, most of us would be dead if she wasn't here, even me

The l/n squad had to take out those abnormals
"Erwin their too many of them, I'm going to play my special role" y/n says
"What the hell?!! What does that mean?!?" I say
"Alright but make sure you don't get to out of character" Erwin says, is he freking deaf?!!
"What the hell are you talking about?!??"I demand practically yelling
" shut the hell up Levi we've all got a job to do I suggest you try that some day" you snap back

"Let's givem hell!!!" Y/n yells as she pulls her cloak to cover her face and falls backwards dammit that always startles me.
"Wait CAPTAIN!!!" Anglea from her squad calls after her
"Cadet get into your position" Erwin says
" but commander...." Angela says
"She'll be fine she's practically an army all by herself which is weird forget about her and focus brat we don't have enough time" I say but I the back of my mind I have this feeling, could it be I'm worried about her? I doubt it.
We all run into our positions and attack it
It all happened so fast my squad and I killed all the Titans to the left when I didn't realize y/n squad was dying
"OI go help them, now!" I yell at my squad
"But sir!!" Petra says
"NOW BRAT!! DAMMIT!!" I yell,I fished off 4 Titans when I head to my squad when I see all of y/b squad it the hands of the Titans, to make it even better my squad was getting tired and 3 of them were caught by the Titans too. "Dammit" I say
"Ahhhh help!! " I see eld yell
"Worthless brats" I rush to the but an abnormal slams me to a tree and I dident even see it, I'm thinking to much about y/n and her squad why can't I focus as I was falling I see someone zip through fast no human could go that fast, but I see that this person slices all the Titans Neacks and saves my squad and y/n squad.
Who is that?
"Captain!!!!" Petra yells
That person rushes to me and grabs me before I collided with the floor as he or she pulls me up I catch a glimpse of a beautiful long braid, I try to look at her face but bangs were covering her face.
Out if he corner of my eye I se an abnormal laugh at us but even before I could react she releases the hooks so we plummet to the floor again but she shot her hooks to a tree and drops me off at a branch then back flips of the branch not even shooting her hooks then she lands directly on the abnormals head and slices it completely off in one blow. When she pulls up her hood falls off her head and I see its y/n. Every cadet was looking at her, her skin was glowing when the su hit her face she dident even show any emotions she was so serious.
" Hey, are you going to continue and gaze at me or are we going to kill theses basterds?? She says bluntly, I go back to being stoic And say " TCH what room you so long"
"Well I'm sorry I'm just the wild card now one knows where I am, I come and go and no one knows" she states calmly
" TCH fine let's go, take care of your squad I'm not going to baby sit them" I say
"Where's Erwin??" She asks
" he went to help the Hanji squad" I state bluntly
"Oh, but anyways don't worry about my squad now it's survival mode, you now must worry about your self or you can work as a team, you hold the choice of living or dying"
"Wait you can't possibly leave them like that!!" Petra yells
"Are you questioning my teaching cadet if you are then go back to hugging your tree with the rest of your buddies" you snap back with venom dropping out of every word
"I .... Um.. Sor... I um.." Petra stutters nervously
" it's alright don't worry captain l/n is always right, she only does this so we can learn from our mistakes"
"TCH yeah but out here you don't get a second chance"I retort
"Yeah I guess it's survival of he fittest" you smirk
"But don't you worry that they might die!???" Oulo yells
" they signed up for this, am I wrong, besides whoever survives is worthy of staying in this squad, if you can't handle it then just leave I wouldn't blame them." You say calmly
"Enough questions, I've got places to be" you say while pulling your hood to cover your face. Then You just jump off the branch then shooting you hook at the back of a Titans head
" damn look at her go" eld says
"Yeah" I mumble she the. Does a back flip and lands in a branch looking off into the distance.
Then strikes a TITAIN one after another after another after another after another and so on. Her squad got into danger and Petra yells "I told you so she's so irresponsible for her squad" then she flys past fast again and kills all the Titans by slicing their heads off in one blow. Then cleans her blades and flys off again but this time to the Hanji squad which was really close by she saves Hanji 4 times and kills more that half of the Titans that surrounded four eyes and her squad. 14 deaths in total after that expedition.
Back to present times-
No ones p.o.v
" I am so greatful your majesty but I must decline my role as one of your pawns is to defend you no matter the cost, I must also protect the citizens as well, you may manipulate this pawn as you wish but I beg of you to let your pawn fight for you not beside you at all times as if I were your body guard."
" as my pawn I accept your offer but I only ask that my pawn fight to save humanity and to enjoy life a bit, we both know this life won't last long"
