Tremaine- Don't spend over 100.

– Okay.

Her stuff was way over a hundred dollars, Trey was just being annoying and I was being petty. As long as everyone's being something. Her doll was ready so we got it and paid for her things. The total was four hundred dollars and I easily paid with Tremaine's credit card. We got back into my Benz after putting her things in the trunk.

"Mommy can we get ice cream?" Layla asked.

"How about frozen yogurt since I'm supposed to be watching my diet."

"Okay." She replies simply going in the backseat. "I'm so glad she's fixed." Layla beamed looking at her doll.

"So are you going to talk to daddy."

"Nope." She said lowly so I just left it alone.

I pulled into SweetTreats and we both speed walked to get inside. The paparazzi hadn't shown yet but I know they'd be near soon. We got our frozen yogurt sitting inside so it didn't melt.

"You still like Carter?" I asked referring to her little "crush" that Trey still didn't know about; wasn't going to find out anyway.

"No, he's annoying and lazy." I laughed taking a few spoonfuls of my yogurt.

"Get use to it." I said.

"What do you mean?" She had a confused facial expression on he face.

"It doesn't get any better, even when they grow up it's still the same." I replied as she raised her eyebrows.

"So even if boys get older, they still act the same?" Sadly but True, I'd say 95 percent does.

"Yup." I sighed. She kept quiet in her own thoughts while eating. I text Tremaine to make sure he started on dinner and didn't mess up.

– You started on dinner?

Yes Kera...

– Shut up!

He text back but I neglected to read it since I decided to go home. In a flash of twenty minutes Layla and I made it home. While she grabbed her bags I immediately smelled the ribs throughout the house; and I knew if they cooked slowly they will literally melt in you mouth. Layla ran upstairs with her things probably to FaceTime Khanari.

Trey was in the kitchen texting away, and I just got started on the potatoes for dinner. I placed salt into the water, draining the excess water and adding seasonings and butter. He finally looked up from his phone.

"How much was it?" He asked.

"Four hundred." I said nonchalantly.

"I said don't spend over a hundred."

"I said you should've been watching Adrian." I spat back.

"These kids already spoiled."

"Next time watch your son." I say in a suggestion type of voice. He rolls his eyes leaving from the kitchen.

A hour later.

We all sat at the dinner table eating barbecue marinated ribs with buttered salt potatoes, sour cream, and corn on the cob. Layla was keeping her promise at Trey and not even looking at him. Jayden was smacking on his food and all I could do is laugh.
