Chapter 1

Darkness. Total Darkness. Oh and don't forget the fact that you are falling in total darkness. You wait to hear the horrid sound of your bones cracking... But instead you are greeted with a soft bed if golden flowers. You move the (H/C) hair strand that fell in front of your face. Am I dreaming? You wonder to yourself as you try to no ruin the flowers as you stand. You look around trying to find a way out of the room. Oh, great. The only was is down a long dark scary hallway! Fun! You walk down the hall and open the large door that greets you at the end of the hall way. Hesitantly you open the door... And greeted with a dark room, with the exception of a spotlight on a cute yellow flower. You breathe a sigh of relief, you were expecting a horde of monsters ready to attack you just like in the stories everyone tells about the underground. "Howdy! I'm Flowey, Flowey The Flower!" A high pitched voice says to you. Stunned you look around for anyone that just spoke... but the flower was the only other person in the room. You look down at the flower, or Flowey as the flower just called itself. "D-did you just talk?!" You say surprised.

"Well, I don't see any other monsters around here! So yes, I did just talk. Any other questions?" Flowey responded

"Um, No..." You said quietly

"Goody! Well then let me show you how things work around here!" He said too-excitedly. "Well, first off, see these white friendliness pellets?" He says as 5 little white sparkly pellets appear in front of him. "Try to catch as many as you can! Go on, here they come!"

The "friendliness pellets" come towards me, and you eagerly catch them all... Resulting in excruciating pain. You feel dizzy, and fall on your knees. A demonic laugh comes from the not-so-innocent flower. " YOU IDIOT...DID YOU REALLY THINK SOMETHING GOOD WOULD HAPPEN?!" He says in a demonic voice.

"IN THIS WORLD, ITS KILL OR BE KILLED."

He gets ready to finish you when a... Fireball comes and hits Flowey? A goat-woman come out of the shadows and introduces herself as Toriel, the keeper of the ruins. "What a horrible soul, torturing such a poor innocent youth" She tells me sadly. "Are you hurt my child? Come along I will guide you through the ruins and teach you the proper way of how things work around here." Toriel helps you up and through the door out of the horrible room. "What is your name, child?" She ask me as we enter another room. " I'm (Y/N), (Y/N) (L/N)." Toriel smiles and says that you have a wonderful name. She ask you about your life, and you explain that you are 16 and accidentally fell down the hole when you were playing tag with your friends. She complements on how pretty your (E/C) eyes are and that you are her are going to have loads of fun together. You both walk hand in hand as you come upon a cute little house.

"Is this your home Toriel? It's very lovely." You tell her as she leads you through the front door.

"Thank you, (Y/N), but I have also a surprise for you... Follow me." She says as she shows me to a child's room. "Your very own room! You may take a shower then sleep for a little. Go on now, I will be in the living room reading if you need me." You thank Toriel over and over then head over to the bathroom to shower. As you I step into the steamy shower, the only shampoo you see is "Mettatons hair-poo-Now you can have great hair too!" You giggle to yourself and say that's a funny name.

After your shower you head to your room and look for something to wear. You finally decide on a baby blue sweater and ripped jeans, along with some sneakers. You brush your hair and go to the living room where Toriel is reading a book about snails. As you come in, she looks up and smiles. "How are you feeling? I know you took a little beating against that awful flower." She said sadly.

"I'm doing better now, thank you." You say as she hands you a delicious smelling pie. She says its cinnamon butterscotch. You immediately finish, leaving Toriel laughing.

"Child you make it seem like I'm starving you!" She says as she laughs. "This is way better than what my savage step-mom used to make!" I joke.

A little after sitting by the fire and telling stories, you ask Toriel, "I want to explore outside of the ruins, will you please show me how to leave?" I ask as she closes her book. She sighs and stands. "I knew this was too good to be true." She says sadly. "Pack your things child, because once you leave, I would not like you to return. I hope you understand."

You nod and go to your room for the final time, gathering you things and saying goodbye to your bedroom. You walk out the door and meet Toriel, and walk hand in hand towards the basement and to the door that presumably Leads to the outside of the ruins.

"You know I will miss you greatly, my child." She says sadly as a tear slides down her cheek.

"I will miss you too, to the moon and back, mom." You whisper as you give her a goodbye hug.

"I have one request of you as you leave the ruins," Toriel says as she wipes the tears from her face, "Look for Sans... He will help you on your way." You nod and wave as you open the door to the underground.

"Goodbye, (Y/N), my child" Toriel says as you close the door behind you.
