"How was your day?"
"It was good." I responded while plastering a big, goofy smile on my face. He made me so happy. I can't even imagine how he'd make me feel in person, "How was yours?" I asked.
"It was good. I got a lot of stuff done today."
I gasped. "You didn't procrastinate!?"
"Not once!"
"Aw, I'm so proud of you!!"
"Thanks, Addie."
"You know sometimes I hate talking to you on the phone." I said.
"Why's that?" Mark asked, containing his giggles. I heard him laugh. His laugh was my favorite.
"Because everytime I talk to you on the phone, all I hear is the sound of liquid gold."
"Oh. My. God." I hear Mark release all the laughter he was holding in loudly.
We both laughed and then there was a few seconds of silence until Mark said, "You know..we see each other in 13 days."
"I know."
"I can't wait."
"Me neither."
