"ROPED OFF"

Chapter 8

Brooke pov :

I was currently sitting in front of my mothers door step with amira she was sleep on my chest..... it was 6 o'clock in the morning  , last night i took her to go see her dad and when we came back my mother said it was to late for us to come in her house and threw us a cover on the porch and told me to cover up amira and watch her i was so mad i just sat and cried all night and let amira sleep on my chest ....i didn't wanna call anybody especially not marchell and sarenety because they always come to my rescue and i was feeling like i put to much on them so i was just stuck ...last night i realized i wasn't going to go in so i turned my phone off to keep a charge i had just cut it back on to see it was on 73% and the time now was 7:15 i had to take amira a bath and put her on some clothes me and her have on the same clothes from yesterday i have her some clean clothes in her bag i just need to wash her up so that i can put them on her i realized my mama and the window looking at us then she finally came and opened the door but not without saying some smart shit

"Get yo ass in here with that baby ...y'all can come in here now but next time that damn man tell u something tell his ass provide u a place to stay"

I didn't say nothing i just rolled my eyes and hurried to me and amira room  my mama got two extra rooms but she said me and amira had to share one which i thought was ridiculous but i was really close into saving enough money for me and amira to get our own house just needed a couple more paychecks

I layed amira down and got her some clothes and things i knew i was going to be late but i didn't care i ran us some bathwater and sat her in with me she was a little fussy but once i started talking to her she calmed down we were in there for a good hour i probably wont make it to school until 10 but i have to do what i got to do to tell the truth if i would have never took her a bath with me an just left her with my mama she would have been in the same clothes when i got back because my mom always say its my responsibility

I stepped out and wrapped us up running to our room i sat her in the bed and finish drying her then myself i put baby lotion and all on her have her smelling good and put her hair in pony tails and dressed her in a wunzeey and some pants she was looking cute and smelling good i didn't feel like dressing up so i through my hair in a pony tail and put some lotion on and deoderant and put on my Adidas suit with my air force ones then i walked out the room the only thing my mom do when i leave is feed her and make sure she doesn't mess up anything she doesn't play with her or nothing i put her and her high chair and kissed her cheeks before leaving and walking to school .......

Mani pov :

So marquis had finally brought his ass to the house drunk as shit and smelling like some good ass weed tho when he came in he ain't even say shit he walked straight in the living room looked at me and continued to walk his ass to the back of the house were we shared our room I was sitting on the couch for a extra five minutes before I wanted to know why he walked in and didn't say shit to me so I got up and walked to the room to ask .... when I got back there he was sprawled out on the bed with his eyes closed but I wasn't sure if he was sleep because I didn't hear his snoring so I walked over and climbed on top of him and before I can look down and get fully comfortable I was thrown on the floor I looked up fast... to see him now sitting up looking directly at me and I guess my facial expression showed confusion so he spoke

"You think I don't know about you fucking that Nigga from down the street" he asked with a little bass in his voice

I sat up a little and decided to play dumb ..... wtf is you talking about mar ? U the only one I Be with he laughed loudly and I was confused

"Stfu bitch I run these damn streets I know who come in and who leave out them if u think u gone sneak around and do lil shit and I'm not gone find out u got another thing coming get tf up and get out of my house"
