Three months later...

It has been 3 months since my mother's death I had been at my job for three months, already started my senior year ,and had one more month until my brother touchdown. I was finally getting better by coping with my mothers death and learning to move on while i was working at the deli i met a handsome man named alan to say less we exchanged numbers and been talking for a while the only bad thing is he lives and cali and i live in Compton but i feel so close to him its not even funny i was headed on my way to school it was friday finally we only been in school for a month and some days but it feels like forever i put on a half shirt , jeans ,and some jays while marchell decided to match we were lookin tasty and we headed downstairs to get in TJ's car while we got settled in i plugged up my headphones to listen to music a few moments later alan shot me a txt

Alan has been to see me bout 10 times since we met and every time he comes I cherish it sometimes he spends the night but soon he'll be here our I'll be there 🥰.. Marchell mom moved to Florida with her new boyfriend she told us we needed to keep a job to keep the house and that's just what both of us did I got her mom room and she kept her we take turns cleaning the house or we do it together we don't really have company if it ain't Alan or Tj and between work and school we're barely home so that cuts down on bills so we we're doing good

We had finally made it to school and before I hugged Marchell I texted Alan back

We both shared a laugh cuz we know it's true and started walking to class since we had all of ours together me and Marchell only shared two classes second and fourth but we see each other between classes everyday so it was coo I opened my mouth to speak to Brooke......Brooke was 18 and me and Marchell we're 17 going on 18 real soon
