Chapter 1: Morning Wake up Call

"Alexia....." That word pierced into her dreams. Alexis groaned softly and tossed in her bed.

"Alexia. ALEXIS WAKE YOUR ASS UP." That was her cue to get up. She sat up slowly and winced slightly as she rubbed her eyes. She was still sore from her last "argument" with her father.

"Never mind that right now",she thought, "I'd better get up before he-"

The door opened with a loud boom as her father burst into her room and picked her up by her shirt. "Didn't I tell you to get up,you piece of trash?!" He yelled in her ear. She flinched and looked him in the eye. "I would've gotten up. If I didn't have such an asshole for a father." No sooner had she said these words that he kicked her in the stomach. She grunted and held her hands to her stomach,laying on the ground ,groaning.

"Get up,you piece of crap." He connected his foot to her chest and she was kicked and sent spiraling to the back of the room.
She coughed and got up slowly, leaning against the wall.

"One more of those outbursts of yours,and you're really in for it. Got it?" He said threateningly.

She didn't dare look him in the eye, she didn't want him to see the fear in her eyes. Instead,she looked down and muttered. "Y...Yes sir....."

"Good,and don't you forget it. Now get to the shed,you got work to do. And for your sake,you better finish your work." He growled loudly and walked out of the room,slamming the door with another loud boom.

She tried taking a step forward,but she ended up falling on her bed with a groan. This wasn't her first time ending up like this. One time,she ended up in the ER because her father "had a bad day".

And worst of all,her mother supported him. She even beat her around a couple times.

She got up again,leaning against the wall and wincing in pain. It was hard to walk now,butt surprisingly, she made it to the shed,where her daily "jobs" are waiting....
