They made me more than human,

an action not unusual from any man or woman.

In truth they seem to enjoy it,

they've worshipped all those gods from the beginning of their story.

I don't think they will stop it.

They made me more than human,

a legend, a warrior woman.

But tell me, mother Danu, what do I fight for?

They say I must protect my country,

do I protect it from Aoife?

They made me more than human,

a despicable, yet admirable woman.

Oh, what have I done to my own sister?

Perhaps the only one I should fight it my own self.

I'm truly a creature of torment.

They made me more than human,

I became the bravest woman.

They told me to train Cú Chulainn,

I gave him my daughter and my sister,

but what do I have now?

They made me more than human,

but now I'm just a lonely woman.

Am I a warrior because I stood strong under all this pain?

Or was it my skilful sword in the battlefield?

I do not wish to find out.

They made me more than human,

they kept calling me the Warrior Woman.

I had to remind them my name is Scáthach,

but did they listen, mother Danu?

Do you think they ever will?
