I am the calm before the storm,
I'm a paint stroke, I'm an art form.
I'm a beautiful statue in a museum,
sometimes I feel like I'm the Roman Coliseum.
I'm the raindrops in your window,
I'm his hair falling on your pillow.
I'm the sunrise in the morning,
I'm an old lady full of longing.
I'm the girl that became unreal,
I am wounded and I need to heal.
You turned me into an illusion,
and I can't wait to see this conclusion.
I'm Jane Campbell, I'm a human being,
and I'll be your puppet for the time being.
But one day I'll be my own self,
and you will find me on your bookshelf.
