Chapter 45: The Fountain Wish.

It’s been a couple of days since dad woke up; he’s leaving the hospital in two days. Anyways today all of us are going to the city center to do some shopping and enjoy a well needed day out to relax.

The beautiful sun was raining down on me as I stood at the fountain with my eyes closed; the sound of water splashing behind me made my heart race, the gentle breeze drifted my loose shirt around. I wore a pair of hiking boots and a white tank top with that girly skirt. My hair was stripped of all dye so now it hung down with a natural light brown shade, it was all one length; resting on my shoulders.

I was happy now that I was in California, Brian let me, Phil and James stay at his house for a few days and tomorrow we’re going to our new condo. I’m excited and nervous, these past few days have been better than what I’ve expected. I expected that as soon as we got here I’d have to help Bailey plan a funeral for my dad but every day he’s getting better.

Today the guys took all of us shopping; they wandered off a while ago leaving me with Gena, Val and Michelle. These girls are amazing and so beautiful, I feel like a potato when I’m around them.

I smiled widely as I fiddled with the gold coin in my hands, sliding it between my fingers as I stood on the ledge of the fountain and pondered on what to wish for.

“I wish for this feeling to never end.” I whispered softly, I inhaled deeply before tossing the gold coin into the water behind me. The sound of it hitting the water with a soft sploosh. My heart fluttered at the feeling of love. I opened my eyes to see the beautiful man standing in front of me with a smile. His hands in his ripped jean pockets, a grey tee shirt covered his body. His light wash jeans ripped at the knees, they fit loosely. His hair was fluffy and whisked around aimlessly but it was amazing. His eyes covered by sun glasses.

He walked up to me with a skip and stood in front of me on the ledge of the fountain. He pulled me into a hug and kissed the top of my head sweetly. I couldn’t help but smile and shiver.

“What did you wish for?” He asked with a soft tone. I smirked and shook my head.

“It doesn’t matter; I got what I asked for.” I replied and kissed his lips quickly. His arms tightened around me. Our bodies pressed tightly against each other. I snuggled into him and smiled at the feeling. I couldn’t help but smile and indulge the feeling. I felt like a little kid in a candy store, happy and wanting every sweet, greedy. I wanted to never let go but I knew we needed to break apart sooner or later. I smiled and looked up at him.

“I wished this feeling would never end.” I whispered softly, my voice hushed. I kept my gaze up at him, my lips twisted into a shy smile.

“It doesn’t have too.” He said with a sly smirk that made my knees weak. My heart bounded in my chest when he lifted my chin up and our lips touched softly and for what seemed like a split second but in reality it was minutes. I smiled proudly and hugged him close. Phil looked down at me with a slight blush. I could feel my face heat up when I heard people cheering and whistling at us loudly, I looked over to see Val, Michelle, Lindsay and Gena making faces at us while Matt, Zacky, Johnny and Brian all wooted at us. I shook my head and smirked at Phil. He looked down at me with a charming smile.

“You know they call this the fountain of Aphrodite.” He whispered the sweetest thing ever. The fountain of Aphrodite is supposed to hold the power of love. They say if you throw a coin into the water with your eyes closed and when you open them you’re supposed to see the person who loves you most. I saw Phil so that means he must love me. But it’s just a legend, right? I furrowed my eye brows at looked at him curiously.
