Lukas's POV:
Jess and I had been dating for almost a week now, and I decided that it would be a good
idea to go on a date. When I got off of the bus, I ran inside and called Jess.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Sup?" I asked.
"Nothing much, sup with you?" She replied.
"Nothing much, sup with you?" I responded without thinking.
"I just said... nothing."
"So... I actually had a question..."
"Yeah?"
"I was actually kinda wondering... if... y'know..."
She was silent, waiting for me to ask her.
"If you'd like to go on a date with me?" I finished.
"Oh Lukas! Of course I will!"
"Great! I'll meet you at your house at 5:00!"
"Alright, see you then! Oh wait!
"Yeah?"
"Do I need to dress up?"
"Nah its fine!"
"Ok, thanks. Bye!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I felt relief wash over me as I hung up. Thank God she said yes! I thought as I was putting
on some clothes. I decided to wear a pink striped shirt with my ocelot jacket, since we'd
be outside most of the night. After I finished getting ready, I plopped down on the couch,
and called Aiden.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Hey Lukas, what's up?" Aiden asked.
"Nothing much... listen... can you come over? I need some advice," I replied.
"Sure thing Luke. See ya!"
"Bye"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A few minutes later, I heard a knock at the door. Aiden walked in as I opened up the door.
"Hey bro!" He said, "What did ya need?" I paused for a moment, trying to think of what
Exactly to say. "Listen, Jess and I are going on a date tonight, and I was wondering where
would be a good spot for a picnic," I told him. "I see..." He replied, "I say that you go up by
that cliff. Not too close, but not far away either." He pointed out the window to a cliff in
the distance. "Alright. Thanks!" I told him, grabbing the picnic basket. "No problem Luke,"
He replied, "I'll be here until you get back!" I nodded and headed out to Jess's house.
Jess's POV:
OH. MY. GOD! Lukas actually asked me to go on a date with him! I happily yelled inside my
head. I know we've been dating for about a week now, but it was still exciting! I hurried
and put on a pair of brown overalls with a blue and white shirt. I decided not to do
anything with my hair, and just put a red hair clip in it to keep it out of my face. I heard a
knock on the door as I was finishing my makeup, and quickly went to answer it. "Hey!"
Lukas said, giving me a hug. "Hi Lukas!" I happily responded. "You ready?" He asked.
I was nervous, but I told him I was. I went out to his car, and he held the door open for
me. Aww he's so cute! I thought. I smiled and went inside. He started driving, and about
five minutes later we arrived by a cliff. "Lukas, what are we-" I started. "Shh, close your
eyes!" He interrupted. I obeyed and closed them. He took me by the hand and led me
away from the car. "Alright! Open them!" He said excitedly, as I opened my eyes.
"Wow, Lukas! This is amazing!" I told him. He had set up a checkered blanket on the
ground, with a picnic basket filled with all of my favorite food inside. It was right next to
the cliff, giving us the perfect view. "Thanks" He said, blushing. Gah! He's so adorable! I
thought, feeling my cheeks heat up too. We sat down on the blanket and started eating.
The food was delicious! Nothing could ruin this perfect date!
