The Party

Lukas's POV:

I decided to go to the mall to pick out a suit to wear at the party. It was a little bit hard to

find one because most of them were a size too big. Finally, I found one and tried it on. It

fit perfectly, so I went out of the dressing room and waited for Aiden and Gil to get theirs

on. I looked over at the Perfume Place to see if I could find Maya. Instead of seeing Maya, I

saw a black haired girl. Jess. I quickly told Aiden that I'd meet him at my place later, and

rushed out. I hoped that she didn't see me picking out a suit.

Jess's POV:

The next few days of school passed pretty quickly. Lukas and I got an A on our redstone

project, and it would be shown at the Endercon Science Fair, Chemistry ended up with

Lukas's clothes getting smothered in ashes from a failed potion, and the rest of the

periods we talked. After getting off the bus today, I happily skipped down to my house,

and ran inside. "HURRY UP JESSE! GET DRESSED! THE PARTY IS TONIGHT!" I screamed at

him. "Yeah, yeah." He replied. I was so excited! I got dressed in the bathroom since Jesse

was taking forever, and I ran out about three minutes later. I grabbed his present, and

yelled, "HURRY UP JESSE!" He walked out of our bedroom casually and said, "I'm coming,

sheesh!" I ran down the street and stopped at the address he had given me. Slowly, I

approached the door, and gave it a quick three knocks.

Lukas's POV:

"Lukas! Get the door!" Aiden yelled at me. I rolled my eyes at him and walked over, and

opened the door. "Suprise!" Jess said to me. I laughed and invited her in. She looked so

pretty in her blue dress and her hair straightened. "Where would you like me to put this?"

She asked me, looking at the gift she got me. "Oh, you didn't have To get me anything!" I

told her, feeling my cheeks get warm. "I know I didn't have to but I Wanted to!" She told

me. I playfully rolled my eyes and pointed to a table. "Over there will do miss rebel," I

told her. She took it over to the table and set it down, looking relieved to let go of it. Wow,

that looks heavy, I thought, she actually cares enough to get you something that she could

barely even carry. "Thanks Jess." I told her. "No problem," She replied. After about 20

minutes, everyone arrivied. "Wow, Petra. You look amazing." I heard Jesse tell her.

"And you don't look too bad yourself," She replied to him, laughing. "Yo Yo yo! This is

DJ Gil, and we're about to get this Party STARTED!" Gil yelled. He started playing some

songs, and everyone started dancing and laughing. Suddenly, a slow song came on. I

looked at Aiden, who gave me the thumbs up before rushing to dance with Maya. I

walked over to Jess and asked, "May I have this dance?" She giggled and Responded, "I

believe that you can." I felt my face heat up, but it was dark, so I don't think that she

noticed. "You look pretty," I told her. Shoot! Did I say that out loud?! She laughed.

"And may I say that you look rather nice as well," She said. Suddenly, stood up on her toes

and gave me a kiss. On the lips! I kissed her back, and the song ended. I looked over at

Aiden, and he gave me the thumbs up.

Jess's POV:

"May I have this dance? Lukas asked me as a slow song started to play. "I believe that you

can," I told him, feeling my face turn red. We started dancing and Lukas broke the silence

by saying, "you look pretty." I blushed and said, "and may say that you look rather nice as

well!" Suddenly, I decided to stand on my tip-toes, and give him a kiss. He was actually

kissing me back! When the song ended a few seconds later, I broke this kiss and smiled.

I saw him look over to one of his friends, who gave him the thumbs up. I looked over at

my brother, who did the same thing to me, and kissed Petra. I smiled and turned around

to Lukas. I was about to say something, but I was interrupted by Aiden. "Let's let this little

birthday boy open up his presents!" He joked. We all laughed and headed to the table.

He got Hairspray from Aiden, and Gil, Jesse got him another striped shirt, Petra got him a

Pickaxe, Maya got him a scrapbook with all of the Ocelots's pictures in it, and a few other

people got him some more clothes. Finally, he opened up my gift. When he opened the

box, the baby ocelot that I got him hopped out. "Thank you so much!" Lukas gushed,

"she's so cute!" I laughed, "No problem Lukas." He ran up to me, and gave me a big hug.

"Thank you," He whispered in my ear, "for everything."
