"SIR, these are the reports you have requested." Inabot ng lalaking sekretarya ang isang makapal na folder sa lalaking nakaupo sa may terrace ng villa nito.
Malakas ang ulan pero hindi nito inaalintala iyon dahil malawak ang terrace at malapad ang nasasakupan ng bubong.
"Thank you. You may go," sagot ng binatilyo matapos lumagok ng alak na hawak-hawak. Nag-bow ang sekretarya saka umalis ng silid.
Bukod sa Sabado ngayon ay malapit nang maghating gabi pero lulong pa rin sa trabaho si Scorpius Blake Perez, ang nagmamay-ari ng Perez Empire at ang isa sa mga nangungunang kompanya sa limang kontinente: Asya, Australia, North at South America at Europa pagdating sa cargo shipments, investments sa stock market, casino, restaurants, tourism at iba pang industriya.
At hindi aakalaing sa edad na dalawampu't anim ay successful siya sa pagpapatakbo ng mga negosyo at naisalba ang kompanya ng yumaong ama bago inabsorb sa Perez Empire.

Kung may meeting naman ang mga investors, he does a video conference where he can see everyone but no one can see him.
Exception lang nito ay ang secretary niya na si Terry. Naging schoolmates kasi sila sa Harvard kaya napagkakatiwalaan nito tungkol sa pagkatao niya. Plus, the fact that once Terry exposes his identity, he will pay a big amount which would last a lifetime.
Sinuklay ni Blake ang buhok gamit ang kamay saka ito kumuha ng sigarilyo sa bulsa at sinindihan ito. Sumandal siya sa sofa-bed sa veranda para mabawasan ang stress na dumadaloy sa kanyang isipan at katawan. Every puff he made is soothing to his nerves... Though he never liked the aftertaste.
