The students of Beacon Academy had been relocated to a desert, the place was unbearable. Velvet was one of the few who adapted quickly. She was busy on a scavenging run with Coco, Fox, Yatsu, Claire, and Nero who was sent to help the students. While they were traveling, they found someone passed in the sand. The crew took a loom at him and carried him back with their supplies. Upon reaching the temporary placement of Beacon, they took the stranger to the infirmary. After three hours of pumping life into him, he awoke. The crew entered to meet him properly. Velvet walked to him and said,
"Hello, my name is Velvet Scarlatina. My friends and I found you passed in the desert. What's your name?"
"Hyperium, the king of a fallen kingdom. I was killed but Cydonia brought me to life and now I am here.", he replied to her. The crew asked more questions as Hyperium answered back in full. They learned more as each minute passed. The questions stopped when they felt the ground shake and light exploded in front of them.
