Morgan's POV
It was the final moments before the start of my last game playing for the USWNT which means its the end of the 15ers era.
As much as I didn't want this day to come I knew my time had come and I'm happy to go out as a 3 time world cup champion and a 3 time Olympic gold medalist.
They announced the team and it was finally time for them to announce me.
"Ladies and Gentlemen 3 time women's world cup champion and Olympic gold medalist has the most caps in us women's national history with 364, the USA captain tonight Morgan Brian." they said and I turned and waved.

It was the 32nd minute and I got the ball just above the 18 and I quickly took a look up and saw the keeper slightly to the left so I decided to curl it near post and I hear the ball hit the back of the net and the crowd lose it.
I run around and stop when I see Mal and she just jumps on me.
Not very long after that Mal got a goal and its my turn to jump on the now 27 year old.
"I'm so proud of you Mal Pal." I whisper in her ear.
Soon it is half time and I do a quick interview before heading into the looker room and who better to do the interview then the one and only Alex Morgan who it now a espn field reporter.
"Well Morgan, that was one great first half. First you got your 100th goal of your international career the Mallory got her 101st how do you feel about that?" she asks smiling widely.
"Well I'm glad I got to 100 but I'm so proud of Mal, she's come so far in these past years and she's just blossomed into an amazing player."
"Well today is your last match and could you talk about what you would like to do when it's all over with?"
"Yeah, Um honestly I have absolutely no clue but I'll figure it out sometime soon." I say cracking a smile.
"Okay thank you Morgan." Alex says and I quickly say it back and jog to the looker room.
As I walk in I'm bombarded with tons of hug from my teammates and coaches.
"Proud of you bean." Our coach Kelley O'Hara says patting my back.
"Thanks Kel." say giving her a huge hug.

It was the 59th minute and Kelley wanted to make a sub and I saw my number go up in red and I took off the captains armband and walked it over to Mal and just gave her a hug and whispered
"Make me Proud MP."
