I see you once more
And we talk like nothing's changed.
I follow you around as you sign into the building.
Talking and ask question's like nothing has changed.
But as we get to the courtyard
you stop and face me.
It Feels like there's a wall between us.
Untouchable. Unbreakable.
You are there, you're shell and person
But you're personality is missing
The one I saw develop.
It's like you're a stranger,
A person , A figure
Someone who I know, but haven't met.
Or an old acquaintance
That lost touch many years ago
and who was a friend of a friend
And I didn't really know .
Or maybe you're a spirit
Someone I remember
An old friend, who was a once close
But now is just a memory as small as an ember
Or perhaps you were a mirage
And not really there
It was just my mind playing tricks on me
Telling me that.
I miss you.
