Sorry in advance for any future typos and grammatical mistakes, I try to get rid of errors but I do miss a couple from time to time I wouldn't mind you all pointing them out.

I walked through a forest, surrounded by tall trees. The sound of the woods echoed around me. Hooting owls, howling wolves, and the rustling in the bushes from creatures roaming around in the night.

It was almost pitch black, the only light was pouring in from the cracks in the canopy of leaves overhead, allowing me to see a very vague picture of what was around me, it just bright enough to get around.

Hesitantly I started walking forward. One foot carefully placed in front of the other, eyes on the ground so I wouldn't trip, ears trained on my surroundings so as not to be caught off guard. I wasn't too sure where I was going, but a nagging feeling told me there was something worth seeing, something meant for me to find, and the faster I did so, the better. For what felt to be hours but knew to be only minutes, I stumbled through the forest until coming upon an opening in the trees. Looking closer you could make out a small warm orange glow coming from the area. A fire.

Someone probably set up camp. I thought.

Right before continuing on my way, I stopped, an uneasy feeling spreading throughout me and a soft melodic voice rang in my ears.

"Stay."

The voice was filled with urgency and pleading. I had no clue who had said it, but I knew to listen to it. Turning my back to the surrounding forest I started walking to the edge of the trees but ended up stumbling and tripping on a root. It sent me sprawling down the slope and into the clearing below me.

In the middle of the clearing of trees, there was a small camp. A large tent made from intricate weavings of leaves and sticks and a campfire burning brightly. Wet clothes, laid across a rock by the fire, as an attempt to dry them and a large bucket of water sitting to the side. And three women....maybe two or three years older than I was now, were standing there talking.

None of them noticed me lying, sprawled out in pain, on the ground not more than a couple of yards away. They were too engrossed in their own conversation. If you could even call it that. All I heard were angry hisses and mumbled suggestions.

But mostly when I looked at them they seemed scared. Their eyes wide and searching the sky above them, frowns and eyebrows furrowed. All of them fidgeting where they stood in some way or another.

No.

They weren't scared. They were worried. But about what I couldn't tell you. They talked in hushed tones, almost a whisper but not quite. Their voices filled with uncertainty and stress. I picked up only a few sentences of what they said but none of it seemed to make sense out of context.

"Is it ready?"

"Are you sure about this?"

"She's coming soon!"

There was a white flash in the sky and a harsh musical laughter filled the air. It caught all of the women off guard and their heads shot up looking around them.

"Much sooner than you think." The voice of the woman who laughed echoed through the clearing eerily.

The wind picked up and I could feel it whipping my hair against my face and my dress against my legs. I quickly stood up and pushed my hair out of my eyes and look at my surroundings again. One of the women was in minor shock from all of the sudden activity and the other two were panicking.
