The Past ME

Mistreated, misguided, overwhelmed, confused

Alone, afraid, In-love, and abused

Hated or loved due to misunderstandings

Hates solely those who misunderstand 

Deceived, denied the secrets are hid from

She knew they lied, from the start no freedom.

It kills. She bleeds. She knew what was happening.

If only it never happened. 

Untrustworthy, no loyalty, no one at all

Hidden within, awaiting a call

Ultimately, she feels undeserving

For this life she doesn’t deserve, doesn’t want. 

Nothing, unattractive, numb

Talent-less, useless, stupid or dumb

Needing, crying, hurting

No comfort while she’s hurt 

Ungrateful, unknowing, unwise

She’s all alone while she cries

For now she believes

Someone please convince the wrong of her unbelief 

A preacher’s daughter they say

Judged automatically to her dismay

No one, man, woman, boy or girl

Will truly be aware of her disgust for this world.
