Naruto pov
I was sleeping intently when someone rang the doorbell at 7 in the morning. These fools don't seem to learn dattebayo.
"Bushy brow!!" I yelled while opening the door really shocked to see hinata standing there with a scarf in her hand. Wait it was mine and I had lost it yesterday

"Naruto-kun I thought I'd drop by this scarf I took by mistake" She blushed and clicked her tongue
"Umm..hinata" I was confused how I was supposed to act after calling her bushy brow
She was wearing a really cute flowery dress that fitted her well and enhanced her pale skin..she looked like a fairy
"I am sorry but your eyebrows aren't bushy at all they are rather well shaped and beautiful.." I trailed off
I wanted to clear any misunderstandings that might steal my one and only chance of being with her
I was surprised when she burst out laughing
"Don't worry..I know you call lee that" She laughed
She was so cute..no I couldn't afford to think like that. I knew she didn't have any feelings for me and I was a teenager and I loved her since forever and if I might make a wrong move I could ruin even this little friendship we had.
"Hinata do you want to come in and have some ramen dattebayo" I offered her
"Hmm..naruto kun I really think I should go.." She seemed unsure
"Come on hinata..you fed me ramen yesterday didn't you? Think of this as a thanksdattebayo" I winked at her and smiled
I hoped I wasn't being too suggestive
"Okay naruto kun if you insist" She smiled
I pushed open the door and she came inside
Just as I closed the door and turned around I saw hinata looking completely shocked
Then I saw that the whole house was a mess! I was so eager about the idea of having breakfast with hinata that I had not thought of the condition my house was in.
Clothes covered most of the floor (a few of them being underpants) and the spaces between were taken by bowls of unfinished food and damn it! ! There were the 2 books I detested- make out tactics part 1 and 2 that were forced upon me by pervy sage and kaakshi sensei. How was I supposed to get out of this??
Hinata was quiet for a while and then burst out laughing. And the laughter sure was uncontrolled, there were tears in her eyes.
I stood there laughing as well when she began picking up fallen and trodden pieces of clothes, looking peaceful.
I was surprised
" Hinata you don't need to do that dattebayo!" I exclaimed
"Naruto kun I want to help out..I want to do this I don't know why" She said sweetly
"Then let me give you a hand" I swiftly went beside her and strated sorting out food from clothes.
Even if she was repulsed by the socks she didn't show it one bit..she would make a really good partner in life.
I hoped she had a good tolerance for the other kinds of smells too dattebayo..especially ramen.
"Naruto kun..what's this?" She asked as she tentatively showed me a picture where hinata was standing by a tree
I blushed so hard I thought I would explode. I didn't have to act like a creep..I could make up some excuse instead of confessing my lifelong love for her.
"Oh that..I found it on the ground..umm..It." I was coming up with something when she interrupted me
"Oh I might have dropped it somewhere..Thanks you are always so cute" She smiled

Did she just call me cute

I could hear the voice in my head almost shouting at me to make a move when I had the chance..We were alone together I couldn't ask for a better timing.
"Hinata.."
"Naruto kun I am sorry for poking around in your stuff like this but I think I need to wash your clothes.." She said quietly and smiled a little
"Hinata you are not my maid dattebayo!! I just wanted to spend some time with you" I blabbered before I could stop myself
She blushed at this and raised her head slightly.i was confused and embarrassed and stumbled over a book and stumbled near her. She instinctively held be by my arms and steadied me.
"Naruto kun are you okay?" She whispered
"Haven't been better" I whispered back
I was taken aback by her touch..she seemed like the kind of girl who wouldn't dare to do something like that yet..I gazed deep into her lavender eyes hoping she would get a hint, and she couldn't stop staring back. We stood there looking at each other for a long time before she had the resolve to break the intense eye contact.i realised that there was barely any space between our bodies..I was towering over her and she was looking up at me..her beautiful eyes taking in everything.

She realised something and quickly shot her head down and took a step away subtly
"Naruto kun..I just remembered I had to meet neji he might come about now.."
Suddenly the doorbell rang and an angry and embarrassed neji strolled in
"Lady Hinata what are you cleaning up naruto s house for?" He asked "I was searching for you when your father summoned you and my bayakugan led me here" he raised his eyebrows ta me
" neji nee San..naruto kun s house was unkempt so I thought I should help him.."

She was blushing really hard maybe wondering what would happen if neji had come earlier when I was staring at her like a hawk..and we were standing too close..maybe if he hadn't interrupted that idiot...
Not wanting to create a scene hinata pushed neji further to get out the door
"Sorry naruto-kun she whispered while leaving and gave me a wave of her hand. She was blushing red..she was so beautiful and shy nd awkward and sweet and lovable dattebayo
I returned it and was kind of relieved for my hormones..
