Karlie's pov:

I dance around the kitchen with a song in my head as I bake more cookies for when Taylor returns home. She went to visit Colton for the day and I let her go. I decided to just stay home, I didn't want to interrupt their little get together. Plus, there's nothing for me to do at Cara's. I decided to entertain myself with baking. So much to the point where I have already made three batches and am now working on the fourth. Most of them are chocolate chip but I didn't hesitate to add a few recipes of my own.

As I'm grabbing the fourth and last batch of my cookies from the oven, the front door slams shut

"It smells really-wow" Taylor steps into the messy kitchen and eyes all of the cookies that sit on the table and counter

"Welcome home" I smile after setting the fresh batch near the sink

She smiles back and rushes to give me a sweet kiss and a hug

That's when I notice the blood and dirt decorating her hands, arms, and face "Taylor what happened?" I ask immediately and cup her face

"It's no big deal everything is ok" she assures with a smile

"Are you hurt? Is Colton ok?" I ask worriedly

"Babe I promise everything is ok. Would you stop acting like me?" She jokes making me smile

"I'm perfectly fine. And so is Colton he just got a few cuts" she finishes

"But what happened?" I ask

"A mountain lion situation. No worries I shot it" she says bluntly

"What? I didn't know you could use a gun" I state surprisingly. It's never come up

"Neither did I. I just winged it. Can I have a cookie now?" She asks desperately as she bites her lip

"Oh ya" I nod "There's chocolate chip, triple chocolate chip, and..my own inventions" I gesture to the fresh batch that still sits by the sink

"Ohh" she eats the rest of her chocolate chip cookie before heading over to my own inventions

I grab the gallon of milk from the fridge and a glass cup from a cabinet

"What do you call these?" She asks with her mouth full of my cookies

I chuckle "I don't have a name for them" I shrug

She takes the half filled glass from my outstretched hand "How about cookies but with a 'k?' " she suggests with her eyebrows raised and her lips on the edge of the glass cup

"Hm..too basic" I grab one of my triple chocolate cookies and satisfy myself with the sweet taste

"Ok..Karlie's Kookies?" She suggests once again

I shake my head "Still too basic"

She sighs then looks to her left for a moment as she thinks

I watch her intently. I can never get bored of watching her.

"Oh I know!" She says excitedly

"What?" I ask curiously

"Klossies" she smiles wide at her idea

I smile wide "That's perfect."

"Yes that's awesome!" She cheers as she stares at me

"And Tay?"
