The Woods {Kaylor}

Karlie's pov:

It's been a few days after that embarrassing moment thanks to Cara. I should've known. Taylor is done with her training although she runs with me in the mornings on most days, unless of course she chooses to sleep in instead. But what I really want to tell you is that I'm finally taking Taylor on a date. Well kind of. I've only been on two or three but that was in my teenage years. I'm a little clueless now but I'm sure everything will go smoothly.

"How do I look?" I hear a voice coming from behind me

I turn around only to be mesmerized by her external features.

"You look beautiful" I speak truthfully as I examine her in a tight black dress, her lips painted red. My black heels accompany her feet so well as they make her legs look longer than they already are. She's dressed so simply but she looks so elegant "Where did you get the dress?" I ask as my mouth starts to feel dry

"I found it in the back of your closet. I hope you don't mind" she looks down at herself

"It's ok" If it was anyone else I'd be angry

She lifts her head to send me a smile

I smile back

"I hope you know you look really beautiful too" she states shyly. Her fingers play with a ring on her left hand.

I smile "Thank you" I decide to grab her hand but not before grabbing a quick drink of water

"So where are we going?" She asks as we walk out to the shed

I open the garage like once before and hold the passenger door open for her

"Thank you"

"You're welcome" I start the jeep

"But seriously. Where are we going?" She asks

"Somewhere secret" I state

"Oh god don't say that. In the movies they either end up dying or-" she cuts herself off

"What?" I drive on the dirt road in the faded sunlight as the sun begins to set

She stays silent and stares out into the trees

"Tell me" I nudge her arm then look back to the road straight ahead

"Mm..maybe later" she shrugs

I sigh

"Can you please tell me where we're going?" She turns back to me

"No" I answer quickly

"Oh come on please" she begs

"No Tay"

"Please Karlie" she holds my arm

"No" I chuckle and wiggle my arm from her grip

She makes a pouty face now acting childish

I roll my eyes playfully

"Can you at least give me a hint?"

"Of course" I smile

She lights up

"It's a secret"

She then loses her light as she darkens "Smart ass" she falls back into her seat with her arms crossed

I laugh softly

The rest of the car ride is silent.
