Hinata vs ramen

In Konoha, we hold a special festival to celebrate every peaceful year after the 3rd great war. In this festival, almost everyone meets up and we go through various food stalls and activities with the people we love the most. One of the most important things is to be thankful for the prevailing friendship among the various nations and formation of bonds with people of the other villages.

Tonight the festival started. I couldn't have chosen a better time as exams were just around the corner and all that tension and procrastination of actual studying had taken a toll on me.
"Hey sakura and sasuke!!" I shouted at my two best friends when I saw them enter. Sakura was wearing a maroon coloured kimono and looked different..good different. From the corner of my eye I saw sasuke staring intently at her but turned away after hearing my voice.
"Hi naruto" sakura chirped
"Hey" was sasukes uninterested response
"Sorry to disrupt your shameless staring sasuke" I mused
Sasuke looked downright terrified and sakura confused " Oh yes I do love the decorations and the lights are nice too and umm have you seen itachi.." he started blabbering
"It's okay dude and no I haven't" I laughed
They both waved and went on ahead, sasuke scowling at me one last time.
I thought to make better of my time and went straight on ahead to ichirakus-the ultimate ramen shop.
I was running enthusiastically when I collided with hinata..great.
This had to happen when my stomach was rumbling and I was dying of hunger. I didn't know what happened next because I fainted. (Lol naruto faints in this fic) The ravaging hunger and on top of that hinata's beautiful face combined..had the power to make me faint.
I woke up at itchirakus with hinata eagerly slurping on noodles and then suddenly stopped.
"Oh naruto-kun you woke up? You had fainted here so I dragged you inside..I hope you don't mind"
"mind? Hinata this is technically my heaven!!"I admitted
She giggled and then I saw what she was wearing. A purple kimono with her hair tied up and a tiny bit of lip gloss.
Wait why was I noticing these fine details??
She saw me stare at her and blushed a little.
"Naruto kun you must be hungry..here" She offered me her bowl of ramen.
I blushed crimson red "Hinata it's okay I brought money I am sure.." I searched my pockets frantically and not a single penny was found. I panicked qnd started flailing my arms around hoping ayame or pops would give one for free.
"Naruto we are running low on noodles so it would be a no" ayame replied sternly
Suddenly hinata picked up an extra pair of chopsticks and handed it to me
"Naruto-kun I think you need it more than I do" She told me.
When I refused to eat her share, at the speed of lightening a whole lot of ramen was pushed in my mouth. "I am sorry naruto kun but I can't let you die" She whispered
"Hin..at a. .I think I might. ..choke on this"
"Oh my sage..I am sorry" She laughed and took a bite out of the extra noodles hanging out to my neck
"I hope you can eat this much"
I blushed bright red..she was so innocent she didn't know how it seemed.
I just stared at her overwhelmed and on the verge of fainting again while she ate. Ayame and pops watched amusedly and were about to pass on some remark..when hinata smiled at me and bid farewell as neji came to get her. I was disappointed to say the least..I was too eager to do that noodle thing to her too.
Neji looked at me suspiciously but still managed a smile and a hello somehow. He sure was good at multitasking.

I feel like I have completely reversed naruto and hinata's feelings lol and this feels good for a change. The hentai vibes that you might be getting are a false alarm..its not a hentai fic! (yet)
