Aaron salutes Commander Pyxis as he approaches him.

"Sir!"

"Cadet, what's going on?"

Aaron hands the commander the telescope.

"I spotted a suspicious character while cleaning the canon, sir."

"Horses?" Commander Pyxis says, looking through the telescope.

"Yes, and their numbers have been increasing. I recently counted 20."

"Horses with no riders..."

"Sir, what should be done?"

"Good work, lad. I would need to discuss with Commander Erwin further on this, but we must make sure that another enemy doesn't pass through these walls. Stay alert."

Aaron salutes. "Hai!"

Commander Pyxis walks away, taking a few sips from his flask before spotting Commander Erwin a few feet ahead of him. As always, Commander Erwin stands stoic and firm and as Commander Pyxis gets closer, his head gracefully turns toward him, not a hair out of place.

"Commander Erwin, has your last expedition reported any missing." Commander Pyxis says as he stops in front of him.

"Yes, but they were all confirmed dead." He looks out to the oncoming horses.

"What do you suggest."

"This may be a response to the capture of Annie Leonhart. We must make sure that no civilians are harmed." He turns towards Pyxis. "I am for sure that none of our men are on board. There would be a Titan chasing the wagons yet there are none to be seen. It's either the enemy or horses that are homesick."

"Sir! 40 horses and wagons in total!" A cadet yells.

Commander Erwin nods. Commander Pyxis takes another swig from his flask.

"Open the gates. Allow them in. I want soldiers lining the streets and on top of the roofs in case of a circumstance."

"Where will we take it?" Commander Pyxis asks.

"To the former Scouts Headquarters. Levi and Eren are in residence there. If a Titan appears, they can handle it."

"50 horses counted sir!"

Erwin continues. "We will inspect the wagons when they arrive at the castle. And be sure that the wagons take a route that avoids the city. Annie is locked up in the basement of the town hall. If it is an enemy, we want to avoid all possible contact between the two."

Commander Pyxis chuckles. "Not to mention that most of the streets have been destroyed." He waves and begins walking away. "Nice chat again, Commander."

The Military Police line the streets as Garrison soldiers watch from the rooftops. The bell rings as they open the gates, letting the 50 wagons and horses through. The horses easily follow the path set before them, and in no time all have reached the castle.

Commander Pyxis, Commander Erwin, and Captain Levi stand outside as the horses circle the castle before coming to a stop. They all stood in a single line, waiting patiently for something to happen.

"What's going on?" Eren asks as he and Hanji Zoë come out the castle.

Levi turns to him. "Glad you could make it. Not like a Titan could have exploded out these wagons while you're shitting on the carpet."

"But I-"

"50 horses each pulling a wagon was discovered mid day by a cadet. We're about to see what's inside." Commander Erwin informs them.

"Ooooo!! I hope there are baby Titans!!! It'll be like a bright and early Christmas morning!!" Hanji squeals, her face blushing red.

Levi rolls his eyes. "More like Titan parts."

"EVEN BETTER!!!" Hanji's eyes twinkle.

"Soldiers! Begin inspection!" Commander Pyxis yells.

Groups of soldiers approach each wagon carefully.

"Baby titans...baby titans...baby titans..." Hanji whispers under her breath.

They all pull the tarps off the top of the wagons.

"Food?"

"We got food over here!"

"Caged chickens! Freshly killed sheep and cows!"

"Fruits! Bread! And bread ingredients?"

"Fresh water and milk!"

Each wagon revealed more food much to everyone's surprise.

"Why would someone send us food?" Eren asks.

"Sir! Wagons in the back reveal ODM equipment and old Scout uniforms!"

Soon, all of the wagons were inspected and deemed safe.

"False alarm?" Commander Pyxis smiles and takes another swig of his flask.

"No baby Titans?" Hanji pouts and looks at the ground.

"Well, I guess that's it. We can check the food for poison and inspect the old equipment." Commander Erwin says.
"Okay!" He addresses the soldiers. "Time to-!"

"Wait sir! There's one more!" A soldier cries out.

"One more? I thought we counted 50?" Commander Erwin asks.

"I guess we missed one." The soldier walks up to the last one and pulls it off. He gasps. Everyone looks at him.

"What is it?"

"It's a girl."
