Chapter 52- Towels

"I don't want to sleep with her" I whined at Raven who choked on his drink "A shameful choice of words" Raven said whilst laughing

"Huh?" I asked confused he shook his head dismissively "I want to sleep here" I said pointing at his bed Raven's eyebrow raised

"Then you can sleep with Jenna" I added and Raven's shoulders slumped "You've got to stop using that word" he said with a groan

I was about to say something when the door opened revealing a frowning Jenna "Hey, Ash bed time" she said before whispering "Alpha's orders" she said jokingly

I reluctantly stood up and was about to exit Raven's room when- "Good night babe" he loudly whispered against my ear my eyebrows scrunched together before me eyes landed on Jenna and my brain clicked with realization

Right..."Good night, Sugarcakes" I said with a smile Raven ruffled my hair pushing me out of the door

I quickly headed towards my room to give Raven and Jenna some time to...I don't know exactly but they've got to do something

I entered my room and was surprised to see Alpha Xavier there leaning against the wall "Where's Jenna?" He immediately asked

I shrugged trying not to scowl "Swimming with Sharks - I hope" I said his head cocked to the side eyebrow raised "Kidding" I said through a fake smile

He pursed his lips trying not to laugh, I walked to my bed trying to ignore the wild stamp like beat of my heart

Pretending to fix my things I picked through random stuff inside of my duffle bag when something fell off to the floor I bent down to pick it up

But Alpha Xavier beat me to it "Is this...?" He trailed off as he handed me the bear he gave me for my ninth birthday

"That's grumpy, yes" I answered with a smile, "Hmm..." he thoughtfully said examinning the bear I smiled, slightly embarrassed while grabbing the bear out of his hands

I hid it under my pillows, he probably thinks that not only am I immature but that I am also heavily creepy

"Don't think I'm creepy" I blurted out he chuckled slightly "A bit too late, love" he teased winking before going out of the room

"Good night!" I yelled before he could fully leave he tilted his head "Yes, it is" he answered and I resisted the urge to smile

I quickly went to sleep after that, I don't really want to be awake when Jenna comes in so I slept and dreamed of...Alpha Xavier

I was dreaming that we're back up the hill were the horizon was clear and for my eyes to reach, it was raining and we were dancing, he was about to whisper the words that I've been waiting for since I was nine years old

I woke up and immediately snapped my eyes back shut wanting nothing more than to go back to that dream

"Ash wake up! We're going to surf!" Alice said excitedly that made me groan more and roll over my bed

It was 2:00 pm when I got down still in my pajamas rubbing my eyes sleepily, "Look who's the early bird!" Raven teased

I glared at him and picked up a vase and threw it at him which much to my dismay he caught easily "I mean angry bird" he said

I laughed looking out the window where Alpha Xavier was surfing, his shirt off the waves around him, the way he surfs makes it seem like the waves are under his command, not him going with the waves but vice versa

I looked away to find Raven resting his chin against his hand, his eyes wide and goey "He's so hot" he whispered moving my voice I wrinkled my nose at him

"I don't talk like that" I said rolling my eyes at him, Raven stuck his tongue out "Yes, you do- babe" he said in a sweet tone I looked behind me and saw Alpha Xavier looking wet and wild without his shirt

"Would you be a sweetheart and hand me that towel, love?" Alpha Xavier said his voice deep and low making a shiver run through my spine

My cheeks turned beet red "Uh..sure,y-yeah" I stammered getting the white towel that was hanging on the couch I handed it to him carefully so that our skins won't touch

Alpha Xavier smirked his red lips quirked on one side, I felt the dragon's on my stomach flutter their wings, he used the towel and used it to dry his hair, flaunting his bare chest and stomach with bashfulness

I puffed my cheeks trying to steady my erratic heart, I bit my lip until I could taste the metallic taste of blood on my mouth

Alpha Xavier went up the stairs and Rave rolled his eyes at me "Can't you be more obvious?" He asked I tucked my tongue at him

It was half past five when Hail went down the stairs "So who's ready to party?" She said enthusiastically

I saw Gabriel's ears perked at the word party "Oh...Right" Jordan said "Still early" James said checking his watch

"But seeing you girls takes years to get ready might as well start now" James added sitting at the corner

I muffled my groan with a cushion as I laid my head on the couch, clubs are not my thing
